I just received my Garmin Zumo 350 from PalmDr. Also called Short Tronics, INC. They fixed my Zumo 350 for about $70. Quick turn around and great communication.

A few week backs while moving over my Zumo 350 cradle and battery adapter from one bike to another, I noticed the unit would not boot in cradle with ignition switch. I tested it with another cradle and power adapter. So, I decided to take chance and ship it to PalmDr. They diagnosed the problem in one day. My power module chip was bad.

    All back up and running.

With a name like Palm Doctor I would expect they have lots of experience with older units. :lol3

When did Palms come out, like 20 years ago? I think Palms actually pre-date Adventure Rider!

+1 for Palm Dr. Did my Nuvi 550 buttons, including finding a new rubber power button because mine fell off somewhere, replaced the power switch and battery and had it back to me 2 days after he got it.

Just had my Zumo 550 repaired by Chris / ShortTronics / PalmDr.
Excellent service and the unit feels better than new. Nothing but praise from me and I'm usually short on compliments.
Chris is a good communicator and very specific. He seems to have a load of parts for these older - perfectly usable GPS's.

Glad to have mine back. Mines been all over the US multiple times, Europe, Australia and even to all the local stores my brain can't remember or just wanted tunes when I travelled to them.

I pushed the "I believe" button with this outfit. Good choice on my part as my Zumo 550 is still operational and ticking! Highly recommended!

Just had my TomTom Rider 4 repaired by him. Replaced touch screen that had become near impossible to see through after 40,000 miles in the sun. Like new now. Version 4 not as common but apparently same touch screen as 400 and he had part in stock. Turnaround was one week shipping from Tennessee to him and getting repaired unit in mail. ~$70 cost. Here is contact info for him.

I've used Palm Dr. in the past too. Had him repair the buttons on and replace the internal battery in my zumo 550. I've replaced the digitizer twice myself. Great service and prices that make fixing older products like z550 practical.
