I'm just here for the froggy pics of the finger photo bomb.
well thank you
was it you that coached wrestling for one year at sand hill??
the finger is the star
last Saturday robin and me ran our first .5k
that's right point 5k
i'm about to build a new preforming arts center in lawernceville & this was a charity thing
not your average athletes
if a 96 year old can do it surely we can
it started at the old theather
1/2 way there was bacon
jena and robin at the finish line
which was at slow pour brewery
complete with tacos
and a band
from there to the indian swap meet with a band
and some dirty dancing
then to Monroe for to buy some brand new used wheels and tires for my buggy
on the back I decided to stop in jacks as I walked up I noticed a guy that looked like bill from the back and bike like his but some other dude was getting on it
turns out a old firefighting buddy of his had borrowed his and they'd been on some charity ride
they were leaving so we followed em to jefferys
from there home and new/used donuts for the buggie
Not me, may have been Steve?
I think steve's my age
last Tuesday I hauled a mower & my old xl 500 to work
the mower a dude from college park rode up to kennasaw and bought it
the xl I got from a friend on top of cold mountain, yes the one the movie was made about
it had orginally been sold in switerland, 2 of them bought by a man and woman who shipped em to the us of a back early 80s
they toured the states then my friend bought it in fl he rode it for years around canton and Maggie valley nc
then it had been parked a while when I bought it from him.
a lot of friend s have learned to ride on it.
my nephew and some of his friends used to ride it around my pasture, they'd beat it up pretty bad.
matter of fact they'd ripped the guts out of the old super trap muffler on it.
one day I saw my neighbor at the store, he told me if I ever wanted to buy a muffler for that dirt bike, he'd go in half
so it was tired, my buddy dean had been rebuilding it when he got killed & I haven't done anything with it since
I dropped it off with a dude in villa rica after work, to figure out the wiring
that's a long ways from kenasaw & even longer way from gainesville
from his shop I jumped on i20 and back into the big city
it was a tuesday so i stopped off at victory for bike night
i played hell trying to find a place to park a long bed excab truck with a trailer behind it
but after a couple of laps i made it happen
me and the long bed chevy pasted each other a couple of times tring to park, sweet truck even had the skirts over the wheels
a good crowd, some cool bikes
Did you get a new camera? Or clean the lens?
had the bike night hot dog special
carrots & some other rabbit food on top of a hot dog
wasn t bad
I didn't stick around long
but I did help some homeless dude pump up his tire before I left
some ATL skylight complete with traffic jamb, poltical signs flashing lights from a ambulance
there was a homeless dude pan handling too, but I some how clipped him outta the pic, opps
i'll try to do better next time
lol, I've started using the phone more when i'm not on the bike
Just started following along and have gone back many pages to get filled in. It great to see all of these local(Metro-ATL) area and spots. Do you work for Carrol Daniel?
Some of those homeless folk in ATL can be pretty persistent and needy at times... I'm sure he had one of those typical long sad stories to tell...
I think most Cagiva riders are homeless!
as I matter of fact I do....
wait I did this morning, do you know something I need to know???????????????
I plan to be there a while, does this mean you get to Gainesville every now and then?
he did, you must have been there
