had a bit of time finding it, rode down a sidewalk we rolled into the oyster pub joined the big bad bikes out side i think we ate 2 doz a peice then on our way out i had to go by this place we'd seen earlier & i didn't want robin feeling left out
crossed a bridge onto beach st, i whipped it into the indian dealer this gal was buying one and seemed happy happy i checked out the bikes and the chrome dodats on em
the bike show out back was finishing up i didn't even know i needed some speaker covers till i saw these
i found a bike sorta like the one i'd sent the pic to robin only less miles, more money and looked like it had been took better care of the first salesman i'd talked to earlier in the week was showing it to me and said lets write it up i said i would give no where near that price he kept saying we're making unbeliveable deals i kept sayin i doult it we go inside, they write it up sitting around you know the drill i offered em 7k less than they wrote it up for and wanted my bike shipped home no way they'll do that back and forth they knock some off and i stick my offer mean time they're selling bikes you know this because horns start blowing people start clapping, acdc's thunder struck starts playing wide open we go back and forth i know they can't make the deal the last time dude comes back from talking to his manger says you seem like a good guy and all we shake hands, as soon as our hands touch horns go off, thunder struck blares, people clap and he says you just bought a bike huh?? ring the bell huh? place is still packed it's about 7:30 by the time we do the paper work they change the oil and service it i left about 11:30, on a brand new used indian
i guess, blue will come home some day I’d texted the crew I’d bought a bike so bill was waiting on me when I pulled into lot

we decided to hit the super slab jim had told me he didn't wanta run over 70 as i went around the ramp out in front i was thinking this shit won't last 5 miles i was wrong a 1/2 mile later he pasted running 80 i really wanted to strech out the indian and see how she did but stayed right there at bill's mom's we loaded bikes north bound a stop at cracker barrel for a late lunch wrecks and bad traffic we were back at jim's shop before dark we didn't unload, just unhooked and went to the house like a horse for the barn i stopped by bills tonight and got my bag i'd put in his truck an awesome trip ( even if it was the most expensive bike week i've ever been too) (maybe more than all of em added together )
can't belive i missed this pic i like the bikes and blooming trees back in the real world that work thing goes on
dude after i threw the chrome slug into the ditch my pussy ass hasn't ran fast enough to find out yet i gotta admit the bars seem high, wide & the seat sorta pushs me to far forward but theres a lot of room for robin it does feel like it's got more clearance than the chrome slug
lol your welcome to it when i was talking about the first bike i was thinking i could leave it down there and fly back but went they threw out they'd deliver it for free, i grabbed onto that like a dog to a bone got an email from bike haulers last week it's supposed to be home on the 8th the guys in the shop, made me feel a little more comfortable with the idea
by the way this little chrome part broke off in the wreck i took some gorilla krazy glue and glued it back on and it's held, i couldn't belive that i thought about the olympus @klaviator had recommended but decided to go back to fuji, i'm used to it and i'd have spare battries didn't find the deal that @HPPants did, but not far from it
