I'm on the vacation calender for 3 weeks next July. Don't know exactly when/where/whatnot; but the BMWMOA, WestFest, & Montana 1000 are all looking good. :D

After some mild encouragement and a few whacks upside the head I have put this on the calendar. It's a not-so-good time of year for me to blast so I'll probably make it a short version of what a lot of you can swing.

Sure sounds like a gas though. :thumb

    Not sure.
Is Top of the Rockies gathering pre or post Redmond?
We're thinking about chasing down a bit of southern British Columbia post Redmond.
    How's things down your way?

I don't get it. Why would you leave Alaska in the summer time ?????

Guess my priorities are all screwed up. Flowing water means there are rivers to run and roads to ride here in the North Country. The thaw is to short to ride somewhere else. Now February15 in Redmond (or Belize) ... and i'm there ! :D

New places, new faces. Why would you want to ride the same roads over and over?

Point well taken ! Lived and worked in Puget Sound, Washington. Only reason i'd go back to the summer traffic would be for friends and new people ... which IS a good enough reason. :1drink

I was actually thinking of summer mousing rainbow rivers in southwestern AK and riding gravel paths to the east of us in the North Country (o' canada.) Time spent fishing doesn't count in the time you have alloted on this earth ... so i'm going to try and fit in a couple extra months to my lifetime ... assuming i can survive the gravel roads. Friends and/or wild places ... it's all good :D

    What CW said.
35 summers on the same roads sometimes gets a bit redundant!
Not that I'm complaining. Still a great place to ride. Fite

    Fite/Griz,
Things are good down here.......Ca$hman is doing better and starting to think he needs to get back on the KLR again......short rides only. I was not sure about the Paonia thing.......just figured that might be the only place in the lower 48 that Fighter could wear the pink hard hat and the other garb without being noticed!!!!!:lol3 :lol3 :lol3
