Sorry this is a bit late, but hopefully someone's still looking at this thread.

Well, first off, thank you to everyone who came, near and far. Hopefully the Roadhouse is on everyone's radar now, and this is just the first of many shindigs up there.

    Actually took some pics!

Got off the phone with James this morning!
Real nice guy! Looks like I am going to have a very happy rear end! :clap

A real pleasure dealing with folks who are real stand up guys and do quality work! Such a generous donation for the rally and I am hoping he can squeeze the rally name on the seat as homage to a great event and the folks who made it that way.

The seats look amazing and I am foaming at the mouth with all the cool materials and workmanship that is going to make my ride a true day long comfort machine!

    Big + for renazco.com

If I remember correctly.....and I probably dont since I was quite lit......the brunette in the black sweater was local (like fron Rio), the one in white (Andrea?) had just gotten her motorbike license, and was visiting. The one with the black hair and the red-head...I think they all knew eachother. :freaky

Unless your speaking of some other broads.

That was awesome! You guys did an amazing job. Hard to believe that was the first one. It was great to catch up with people we haven’t seen since we moved up here. Congratulations Brad. Great place, food, pool, stage, beer, cat, horseshoe pit, people etc. I look forward to giving you money for a change. Can’t wait for the next event, party, BBQ….Sunday…..Yeah, Sunday. We’ll come by Sunday.

Hey, I'm the rallycross guy who showed up late (grey shirt in the pics above, funny accent). It was a really fun evening, although when I showed up and there was an intense discussion over the merits of the Sierra Club, followed by dialects of Spanish and I believe we had mention of polytheism at some point, I'm like.. damn these are not ordinary bikers. Luckily it all went into the gutter soon enough :D

I actually registered just to say thanks, but I can shed some light on points 5 and 9 (if they were rhetorical questions.. err.. sorry :) ). I think that the girl in the white (Andrea) was staying in a cabin (possibly a parents?) close by, with her friends, and they saw a bunch of bikes and something going on and decided to check it out. I think she had a Suzuki dirt bike with no first gear..

As for the 7am wake-up call.. I dunno, someone's alarm went off and then everyone immediately needed coffee.

No idea about Jean-Luc but oddly as I was prepping my car for the race Sunday morning, I found his name badge on the ground - presumably it had been stuck to me at some point.. :D

Anyway I had a blast despite being on four wheels and not knowing anybody (well hardly anybody), the hospitality was top-notch and it was really interesting chatting to Simon and Lisa and the rest of you on Sunday morning. I'll definitely stop for a pint next time I'm up there..

    cheers
    Phil

    OK, I know I am late with these pictures and that I probably need to move on, but here they are;

Highway 1 near Sea Ranch looking south

    Looking north

    Imagine yourself in this turn

Just hangin around sundown talking bikes. Who is the guy with the red hat?

Note to self: Don't take pictures looking into the sun.

Here are few bikes with some miles on them

I talked to the owner of this bike for awhile. He's a Vietnam Vet and his bike is a 2001 Victory with ammo boxes for sidecases and some custom sheetmetal work on the upper fork tubes. He said the anarchist symbol on the tank is to scare people away from the bike.

Kinda short notice, but we're having a chili cook-off (I WIN!!!) this Sunday. It is in association with the Russian River Pub and is a benefit for an old feller named Paco who has lived out on the river back when there was water in it. Truth is Paco is very ill. He has a dog that is extremely important to him and something tells me most of the money raised will probably go to the dog. So...This Sunday, 2 to 6 pm, Live music, burning bung holes all around. $15 to enter a gallon, $5 to hang, eat and listen to music. The remarkable "Twisty Sister", Lori, is representing with a gallon chili that comes from a recipie that was clearly stolen from me, but that's another story.
    Come on by.
    Call for Details.
