    Hi,

Situation: The LCD screen (or is that LED?) on my 62 series garmin gps is showing few black dots. Some of them appear and disappear, but some of them are permanently. Don't know why it happened.. didn't drop it or abuse it badly but it can happen!

    1) Is there a simple tutorial on how to replace the LCD? On google, result kept showing result how to replace the screen but that is not the problem. Screen display is fine. It is the part that display map and menu that has black dots.

    2) Where to buy? I tried eBay but no one sell it.. I tried Amazon and zero. Could not get result with Google shopping neither.

    :dunno:hmmmmm

    Try Palm Dr/Shortronics.
They do a lot of older model Garmin repair.
