Thanks to everyone who kept an eye out for my brother. I spoke with his son tonight and Kevin talked to him from Fairbanks yesterday and all is well so I'll turn down the brotherly concern.:clap Still, if you see Kevin, tell him his biggest brother says "Hi."

My brother Kevin left Portland, OR for Alaska about a week ago. I don't think he is a member of this or any forum so I'm hoping if any advriders meet up with him they'll let me know. Kevin is riding a beemer 1200GS, red (I think). He's about 6' tall and has red curly hair...well it's actually red and gray. He's a great guy and loves riding.

Last summer he rode from Portland to my house in Sacramento and when he arrived after several days travel the trip odo read 1200 miles! "A little bit of it was four-lane, most was two-lane and as much as I could find was dirt," he said of his route.

Tell him his biggest brother says HI.

    Thanks

Thanks, Arcticflyer. After posting this I got home from work and found an email from Kevin that he sent from Hyder. Typical of Kevin, the message was short and funny.
I appreciate you guys keeping an eye out for him.

Ok, it has been nearly two weeks since his last message and, yes, I know I sound overly protective, but it is a role I've had for a lot of years, taking care of my siblings.

I realize Alaska is a huge place so can anyone suggest other online forums I might try to get more eyes out for Kevin?

    Thanks

I met a bike on the Glenn Hwy going into Anchorage yesterday. It matched his. Maybe?
