Glad you are home safe, thanks for all the work writing it up and sharing.
When traveling in strange lands,
Everything is fine when everything is fine.
But when things turn to Shid, It is best that you can find all of the medical stuff in the good old USA!!!
Your choice can not be wrong.
Thanks again, so enjoyed this RR.
Welcome back, now come get some bread!
Thanks. We will when we are in your area when the store is open.
Welcome home! We lived in upstate for nearly 20 years, I know that part of the country well. I miss it in Summer and especially Fall. Do you have other motorcycles to ride there? Ours are still in Argentina and I really wish I could go for a ride right about now, to get out of the house
Hey Jim! We do have two more motorcycles that were in storage and that we are now using as our only transportation. 99RTP and a 2002 1150R.
The advantage of having older bikes is that you can have more of them. We haven’t spent more than $3000 on any of the four we have. The 1150R was $2100 with 18k on the odometer. When they break down and you can’t fix them cheaply you just buy another. So fare we’ve had no real costly repaired.
We were planning on shipping these two to Europe in the fall and are watching how things unfold. If it is viable we will head there for a few months then back to the northeast for the holidays. January we will go back to Palenque to continue our trip.
Right now we are looking to see where we might be able to travel for the next few months. If we had been able to follow our original plan we’d be in California about now.
Keep in touch.
