    When he mentioned the 4' drop on the backside I figured that's where they were. Several years back when that area was my primary riding spot I had heard of a few that were air lifted off that hill due to the rocks and drop offs on the back side of that dune. It was nice fun sand on one side and near death rocks on the other.

    What happened was; The front did a slow washout and when the bars hit the ground and dug in, it had the same effect as a handful of front brake on a downhill. The back of bike slowly lifted off the ground, pitching me head first down the hill.
    I slid face down for about 15 feet. When I stopped I sat up and looked back up the hill to see The Mighty Beta balanced gracefully on her nose.
    Yessireee, she's one trick pony. :D
