So, I've never been there. I live way over on the east side of Orlando. All I see on Google maps is Richloam WMA. Where is this firetower anyway?

Yeah, that's it. About 1/2 mile south of SR-50 on Richloam Clay Sink Rd. Just past the little general store. Forestry barn, firetower, hiking trailhead. Park anywhere.

I was all set to be 'in'! Even talked with my son (Sub Zero) to join up.

Then, I see that it's supposed to be stormy & rain virtually all weekend, so I guess I'm 'out'. :(

Good ride Sunday, got about 3 hours in and then bailed to avoid the rain, which ended up not coming through til later. Went down at least 3 trails I haven't ever been on before out there. Conditions were just about perfect; not too much sand, not too much water.

Thanks for leading @Risk - let's do it again soon!

yea, we had a good ride, should not let the rain stop us, but we had a good time, and to top it off, I found my tool pack.

I can't believe you actually found the tool pack, that's great! Was it on the last trail or main roads?

I rode Richloam yesterday... big mistake!
    Everything was wet and slippery.
Went through a few puddles and accidentally found a deeper one.
I decided to push forward since the main road was only a quarter of a mile away.
I took the wrong path, too deep. I needed to go 10 feet to the right, took me 15 minutes because I couldn't get over the slippery roots.
Then I came to this, thought it was a river at first but it is the trail that leads to the road.

did a little richloam recon this morning, still very wet, even on the northeast side and north of sr50. Hunting season is starting so it's time to give the woods back to the hunter's.

Hey Risk, it's been a long time since we played in the dirt together.
FYI, no hunting 11-12-18 thru 11-16-18.
Swamp is perfect right now.....just sayin
