    1100 or 1150?

The 1100 can use the stock guards. I chose to get the Acerbis but did not have to.

Sheeit. Ricky-Bars are the reason why I don't sell my Adventure and move into the 1200....

I'll place an order for those pegs, though. I could use some.

    Welcome back, friend.

I think Ricky may have these pre-made now and with trade in of yours, he charges a nominal fee for the new clamps, but I'm not 100% certain. These are the pieces that need to be machined to fit the larger bars:

When royalty returns, there should be a parade.

Your bars have keep me riding the GS, where as, without your bars I would have moved on to other DSs. The stock bars are the worst, while your solution is elegant, and the best improvement one can buy for the GS. I wish there were an easy way to impress upon riders the importance of fit, but fortunately your product seems to sell itself.

Great to have the King of Fit back in action.

A set of Ricky bars and fastways are the two best mods you can make to your GS. Buy 'em.

I heard through the grapevine that Ricky's swimming through a storm surge of orders - but keeping his head above it and making progress. He asks for patience as he gets to each order, he'll get there. One email, one phone call, and then his order goes out. The Post Office is loving him this week!

Even a breached Leveee doesn't flood the field all at once.

I got the bars and mounts late last year and they fill the bill. I like the setup and they allow me to use the BigMak bag after modifying the platen.

Just this week, I ordered the Fastways and they got here in 2 days. Installed them in 10 minutes.

    Great service...Thanks, Ricky.

Thank you guys and gals,,,sorry Gals and guys...

I'm being working like a MadMan the last few days so please be paccient if i did not respond to you so far..

I have a bunch of really great ideas to come and hopefully this time around they will become a reality,,aka a product that I can produce in mass quantityes.

anyway taking with all this people on the phone is being amazing, so much easier for my poor typing fingers and my "bouncy"brain that keeps changing subjects so freaking fast..

well for now I just want to say :wave and to thank all the warm gestures of a apreciation, it feels really good to have a family like this.

you will see more from me in the future, for now I only have energy to draw, ride my skateboard, make funky prototypes and spend two rolls of packing tape a day..

Note: the GPS mounts and the clamps for the 12GS are the next production targets but before that I need to refill .........you know what but don't worry they will come and they will come like the THUNDER..

also remenber one thing,,Rickybars are not Just fancy Protaper Bars,,RickyBars can be of whatever model & brand of bar make the most sense for a specific aplication

thanks again to Poolside, Supermega Molly, R-Dubb, Mike werner, Andy and the rest of the mega heros that lend me their "Headlights"hearts and hands in the period of darkness I just when by...

ricky will :ricky again really soon

I recently removed my Ricky Bars, and all other accessories, in preparation for taking my standard GS to the dealer for a trade. It had been so long since I'd ridden with the stock bars that I simply forgot how much of a difference the Ricky Bars make. :thumb :thumb I'll be installing the Ricky Bars on my new Adventure :ricky
