Sometime this winter I will shove off for Fla., anyone know some great roads etc..
I have heard of a road called the Hatfield Mccoy trail, anyone know of this?

I want to start planning now since that is part of the fun. You know plans with out really having plans. Some basic destinations without definate plans or schedules.

I plan on leaving grayslake late Jan. early Feb. on the big kattoom and being out a week or two.

What to do, where to go?

Hatfield McCoy is a riding area in West Virginia I believe (1000's of acres). From what I read it's made up of old abandoned strip mines etc. I great place for dirt bike and quads. But possibly not for getting from point a to b.

It might be fun to check on your way down. Burrrrrr.....

Where are you coming from? Ocala National Forest is a very nice place for riding. Many many miles of dirt roads and lots of natural springs.
If near St Pete , Guinness is on me.

Hey Skinner - We're all very glad you know where you are coming from, but if *WE* knew where you were coming from we might be able to steer you onto some cool roads.

So . . . . what general direction do you think you are coming from?

Will ye be packin a gps?

I'm sorry I forgot you guys and girls can't read minds over the internet.

If you take the northen most, eastern most point of Illinois, thats where you'll find me. 10 miles west of the shores of lake michigan.

I can smell cheese when the wind blows from north to south.

When the wind blows from the south to the north I can smell hot dogs from Wriggley field.

(Lake County Il., Just 30 miles north of Chicago)
Definately bringing my GPS, a GarminV.

My wedding party left the church on motorcycles

left the limo empty and the inlaws bewildered
reception was a hog roast, worked out real well

Pretty damn cool Knick. Had fantastic weather on the way out and lots of rain on the way home. Thinking maybe east coast Nova Scotia / New Foundland this year.
