Is anyone going out to do any riding in LA. I live in the Glendora area (210 freeway and 57 interchange) and wanted to see is anyone was planning a dual sport ride in the general area (general being a very elastic term :D ).

i have been mostly riding the big bear areas but now have the 1150 Adv and want to do somthing a little more oriented to that bike. Easier dirt if you know what I mean.

I am going to try and ride on Monday depending on how much work I get done on my house Sat/Sun. I was planning on going up to the Gorman/Frazier Park area and then back via backroads to avoid the 5. I won't be know for sure until Sunday night though.

Should be easy. Hopefully Zen Slug will chime in, he's been there before.

I'm not 100% sure I'll be able to ride on Monday as my body and bike are still recovering from the ride I did last weekend.:eek1

However, I do have an extra OHV map if anybody wants to pick it up from my house in the Glendale/Pasadena area.

Here's my idea of a fun day in and around Frazier Park/Mt. Pinos:

You could go a little too fast on Quatal Canyon

And explore some of the dead-end spurs off of Quatal

Then hit some dirt off of Lockwood Valley Rd.

The one out to "Thorn Meadows" campground is fun

PM me if you want more info...
