Bob a fellow tent spacer stayed at my house. He came in his very modded out dl650. It's funny because i have my own dl650 in the same year, but mine looks nothing like this one.

That's certainly an original gear setup.

This is the motorcycle equivalent of a homeless person's shopping cart. :norton I can't help but think the frame is under stress that's it wasn't designed for with those ridiculous, frt/rr, actual "luggage" racks. Interesting? I guess, if you like a rolling junk heap. A seat belt? :scratch

Well when you think about the luggage it isn't that heavy in itself. Its whatever is in it that would make it heavy. The seat belt... that i dont know. I would assume that being belted in in a crash would be terrible. But who knows.

What do you guys think of the seat belt?

Ole Bob’s a trip! I’d buy him a Starbucks, just to hear his stories.

You assume correctly. What do you do when you have get off? "Let go of the bike" so you can get clear of it as it takes its own route. To be seat belted in means you'd be trapped under it/with it and subject to longer slides and maybe a tumble as well. An obviously, really bad if not dumb idea.
