Normally I'm very quiet and not say one word when there is a death in the family but because I've been following this one closely in hope that Harry will turn up OK. I offer my condolence to the family and friends. :cry

To Harry's mother: You have shown the strength and courage in search of your missing son, which you clearly love very much. You were relentless and see through this to the end. You remind me of my mother so it would not surprise me if you are the rock and strength of the family. For your effort to see this to the end, I admire you for that! My heart go to you and your family.

not holding on to much hope, but the fat lady has not sung yet. sure it was his bike, but at this point there is nothing concrete about the remains being his.

as for what gets posted here, have some respect and keep the gibberish and infinite wisdom in jo mama. i have plenty to say about this but his thread is not the place for it. too bad OP's can't delete posts....

May he rest in peace. I was afraid that this was going to be the outcome of this. Have had him on my mind since first hearing about this when he first disappeared. I hope finding the results of the DNA testing when it comes in gives his mother some closure. My heart goes out to her as I am a parent of adult children myself and shudder inside to think that this could also happen to one of my children.

Was traveling thru MX /bout the time he went missing. Quite a buzz amongst everyone down there. Like many of you I have been tracking this from the start.

It ended in a horrific way, and humanity just f'ing pisses me off sometimes.

God bless those who assisted in bringing closure to the family. My best to the family and all who knew him.

    RIP my riding friend.

Not the ending anyone hoped for, but at least some closure for his family and friends. It seems unlikely, but does anyone know if he was a fellow inmate?

I had spoken to him on Facebook a few times and encouraged him to join up but no, he did not get around to making an account

His travels are best documented on his Instagram @anewyorkertravels

That website is some scary stuff. I'd way rather ride in Mexico than wherever those folks live.

I'm sad for Harry and for his family. My sincere condolences and best wishes.

Amazing how clueless some of those idiots are about foreign countries and cultures. I'm just glad they're not traveling there to represent the US.

And most show show no respect for Harry or his family.

Looks like DNA results confirmed that they found Harry. At least this gives some kind of closure to his family, but certainly not the kind anyone hoped for. Raising one for you tonight harry.

Rest in Peace, Harry! Thinking of his friends and family tonight. He seemed like a great guy and no doubt will be missed.
