First of many stops. It’s a bit chilly. I thought my heated wasn’t working but it was operator error. I was turning the knob the wrong way.

Why'd you stop in Frederick? Costco wasn't open yet to get some food court pizza :D. Safe travels...seems like a super-fun trip.

Great looking start and a "wee" bit early. Safe travels. Like the SPOT report. Have to learn how to do this.

SPOT, Garmin inReach - older style Delorme inReach (have the Delorme Explorer) all good. Lots of cell phone dead spots throughout BC and Canada. Good for people following and concerned about you. Good insurance, hopefully never have to use it other than info to those following.

Following these trips is great with morning coffee.

    Cheers

PM sent. We’ll probably stay on the other side of Knoxville tonight in order to make a quick getaway tomorrow.

Urgent bathroom break. Blame it on Steak&Shake Chili. Or the banana milk shake.

The W is fun to ride, she has plenty of oomph for slabbing down 81 at speeds below reckless driving and will go faster if you twist. Engine seems to feel no strain at sustained speeds between 70-80. Downshifting rarely necessary. I wish the front brake was a bit stronger. The seating position and ergos are nice with the 1”bar risers.

Forgive me if I have already mentioned this but we removed the little aluminum Rack that I had cobble together, when the dry bag is mounted to the seed it doesn’t make the bike on stable, in fact the bike feels quite stable now that the load is above the rear wheels. Thank Kevin!
