were you teasing my Kawi?
It was just whispering to me, I have this weird thing
tell her I’ll be there in a few days
@JRowland Thanks for laying out the tracks for another awesome day of riding! You were right about my not minding the 790 for the slab home but from now on I think I'll use the 390 for our future explorations.
Epic ride @justBert and @JRowland ! I’m up here to day figurin’ out where to go ... weather starting off with a drizzle . . . FYI these things actually work (cell extender) I think it was 70$ ebay. About 90 seconds to upload this pic, but zero internet without.
Uses very little power.
That’s a cool little device! Now we know you can post pics of all the amazing things you are gonna see don’t let us down If you wanna come explore near Maggie today I’ll drop this paint brush in a heartbeat, the DR is always whispering “Let’s ride”.
@JRowland Sounds good! I dropped @justBert a text but haven’t figured out today’s adventure. If you are free today, great, if tomorrow is better that works too.
Awesome photo's JR...
I wished I lived in a area like that,,, foot hills and little lakes...
We are getting into our winter months up here in Western Canada...
-4c with 30 ish mpr winds,,, main hwys are a bit tricky too drive on with 4 wheels...
Checked the live stock at the farm
Then toured around the cattle pasture out West,,, need a few more days of frozen too get too the back side of the pasture that leads too crown land...
What a great thread with spectacular views...
It gives me time too plan a trip down there ...
Deffinaly on the bucket list...
I’m free if y’all come here, that will give me enough time to finish a section. I can’t tomorrow. If it works I’d love to meet you. If not, there will be other opportunities hopefully. I have a lot of riding available in my back yard so to speak.
Those frozen landscapes are beautiful but man, my old body just doesn't like the cold much anymore. I work outside a lot and the older I get the more my weather comfort window closes!
Stay warm Don, I don’t miss what I can feel from your pictures. It started as a bucket list for my wife and I too, we liked it so much we quit our jobs and moved Come on down anytime!
Kevin as usual I am up for most anything and riding with @JRowland is always a good choice!
Ok! Bike still on bumper rack — text me at 4 two three 68eight7 area code 727
I was born in CO, raised in Chicago...... I often joke with my wife around February that I didn't move far enough south! I wouldn't trade it though, it's such a short winter here and I do appreciate the distinct 4 seasons.
@JRowland, @justBert I really would like to meet up with you guys soon.
I’m down, make it happen. I think @Rusty Rocket is down for a Monday ride around Max Patch, any chance of you being available this coming Monday?
@Amphib I like to ride so most anytime you want to meet up we can make it happen. Not sure where you're located but we can figure the when and where so lets make a plan.
Ok I need to type faster.....so what @JRowland said
@Amphib we’re rolling out of the 209 cafe around noon today if you’re available. Short notice for all of us but I love this place.
Working like mad to make up for my last trip. Things will ease up in the next few weeks. Thanks for the invite! Hopefully soon!
Has anyone been on Big Walker Mountain road lately? Wondering if the gate at the bottom on the east end is open or closed?
