Mike is this Sugarcove road?
Yes, That's the one that someone talked you into going down. I wouldn't say for sure without seeing if the bottom gate is open by the forest service, But... bear hunters break the gates to get past them sometimes. I think it was 2 years ago that hunters pulled the lower gate open and I had a buddy that rode up the trail without knowing that it wasn't opened by the forest service and as he pasted hikers they took a pic of his license plate and he received a ticket via mail for being in there. He didn't realize that he wasn't supposed to be in there until he got to the upper gate that was still closed.

Ocoee Overlook 1
Oswald Rd, Benton, TN 37307
Or nearby...... There was several overlooks on that stretch.
Who’s riding tomorrow?
Lookout in the Wilson Creek area, it’s been a while, I think it’s time to terrorize the locals with my face.
I think I may head over that way, I may do a lap thru brown mt too after it warms up a tad. What's your plans?
Meeting up with Sidewinder and Suhthernboy, possibly kickstand too, and I know we are planning on hitting Maple Sally first. Probably be close to 11 before we make it there. We would be coming from the Adako Rd end. I’ll shoot you a pm with my # to see if we end up crossing paths.
Sorry we ended up changing plans last minute Robco. Sidewinder convinced Suhthernboy we should try out the horse trails up near Mt Rogers. All I needed was an excuse to go eat at Sarah’s.
And btw, the lasagna was soooo, sooooo good! Thanks for lunch Sidewinder!
We got to talking to a nice gentleman named Joe I believe, was riding a WR250. Not sure if you’re on here or not Joe, but if so, it was a pleasure meeting and talking to you! When we left, we headed straight for the horse trails...
Well, we didn’t last long at all before having a little episode that got us turned around quickly.
So we turned around and decided to go hit Comers Rock instead.
I tried the new Tiger out from here, really liked it! Very sweet scoot, thanks for the demo ride Suhthernboy!
So we still had a fantastic ride, hope all of you did as well. What a great day for end of November! Hope you all have a happy Thanksgiving!
Looks like the horse trails required "less bike & more tire".
Was just chattin' on another thread with AwDang about getting a small group of guys together for the Horse Trails. He's a Damascus local, so probably has some good local intel to share. Assumin' you show up with the correct tools for the terrain.
Look like the horses left sumpthin
Last time I was there, I found some surprises in the leaves, much like your pic
Hey there Glenn. Joe was telling me that the Hwy21 side has a serious washout just past the metal culvert if you are familiar. He said it even washed out the culvert. Just so you are aware.
Last year they were in great condition except one spot that you had to hop a log.
I had some unexpected time on my hands yesterday and my plans went to hell so I headed out to the “back yard” and made a new plan
Ate lunch during my second loop of Martha
A family came by on real dirt bikes, I heard the one guy scream to another rider “yeah man a DR!” I think I saw two other bikes and one truck all day lol. It was awesome!
Been wanting to check out the horse trails, post up if you get a ride organized.
Would like to hear more about the "Horse Trails" They've been on my list for a while.
Awesome pictures as always Josh!! Hope you guys have a Gr8 Thanksgiving.
I'm not sure what this pose is all about.
Just a “heroic” I suck pose for bringing you guys on this route.
