It’s still there, waiting for you
You have to wonder how it got there. It could make for some great stories. Instead of the normal "when I was young I had to walk to school in the snow, uphill both ways" You just tell people you ride the bus to school through Hurricane Creek with students bouncing off the ceiling
Hey, Charlie Manson got a school bus up Goler Wash in the Mojave desert.
New dr? Very very nice either way.
That would’ve been way cooler than the snow!
Thank you, same bike
Continued exploring the forest roads in the Pisgah National Forest, Grandfather district yesterday.
Are they open again??
It’s turning green!
April 1 is when the seasonal roads open. We have just been touring the year round open FS roads.
Was wondering which roads are still open now. Been doing Pinnacle Mnt past few weeks due to all the other closed.
Went over horsepasture yesterday. Most gates are open. It’s been graded recently, pretty smooth, unfortunately.
At the gym now, rehabbing the leg.
I was up there a couple weeks ago... took Globe to Anthony's Creek to Edgemont then over to Old 105. No gates and very little traffic. The BRP did have a closure going south of Linville Falls though.
Yeah that Linville river bridge BRP closure is in the WORST place.
Got out on the parkway for a bit today, for the first time this year, by way of 151. It was fun getting acquainted with a new (to me) bike. I picked it up Monday north of Richmond.
I think it'll be a match made in heaven and a great companion to my AT. Looking forward to putting some miles on her this year.
Mid 70s forecasted on Fri, who wants to go for a ride?
Nice choice amphib! I picked something up today as well... wait a minute... this ain’t NC!? Fly and ride with the oldest daughter, y’all wish us well, having a blast and just got started.
I won’t flood this thread with our trip pics, but might post up a new one later on if anyone is interested in our shenanigans.
Congrats. Looks like a soulful machine.
That looks fun, congratulations!
Nice! Flood away, what a great experience you are giving her!
Seems like a lot of rain in your way, and some tornadoes. Take it easy man. And if you get a chance, take that nice road up beside the Mississippi, I had a great time on that on the S1000R.
