That was sweet! What a beautiful day today was. 6 months or so back @ronandkat reached out to me and we started planning a long weekend. His son was going to come down from WV with a friend and Ron was bringing a friend. Bert and @Rusty Rocket were down for today so we had a lucky 7. The visiting crew is staying at the Cataloochee Campground so the party started there. I kinda like the blur So this cat on the stock sprung DR ate my lunch a l l d a y l o n g once everyone sorted themselves out behind me. Even on TN 32 I couldn’t get too far away. I was riding a tired XT 250 but I was still managing to get around pretty dang good. Bert was my sweep guy most of the day. KLR rider went down on FS288 and broke his clutch lever. He was ok which was great but no clutch So we got him and Ron to I 40 and off they went to Waynesville Cycle for a new lever. We jammed 32 and Mr. Rocket went down in a dirty corner. He was ok but I was starting to have concerns about how the rest of this day was going to shape up. So we ate lunch. Everyone got back together here and we all had some grub and headed off to The second half was a treat, there’s a hole I narrowly avoided I’m still thinking of It was a blast, then off to good ‘ol Rocky Top. While we played here I went back to get a pic of a slide I kept sight seeing (and almost wrecking). I got out as far as I could because I knew I saw 2 Martha Sundquist was the end of our day together today. Back Jack do it again but different tomorrow. Happy anniversary @Rusty Rocket! Thanks Bert, always love riding with you. Thanks for showing me the XT isn’t really all that fast at one point today! Ron, I doubt you have signal but see you at Wheels Through Time in the morning.
