Thanks, the Whip trailer WILL be visited the next time I'm up that way.

I think this coming Sunday I'm gonna go across the Ocoee on 64, run 60 down past Suches, do 19 up over the hill, then Richard Russell to the end, then come back 75A/129 and 19 over the hill again, then Wolfpen back to TWO for lunch. Then back up 60 to Doublehead/Roy to Ellijay, then over Fort Mt on 52 then NoGa backroads back home.

That's the nicest thing anyone has ever said about a DR650, perfect descriptor :lol3

Just came off the parkway towards Waynesville on 276. So much devastation from the flood. Thoughts and prayers to those folks.

Can anyone on here give me current updates on the MABDR in the western part of Virginia? Specifically section 3 from Route 250 down to Fort Lewis. That would be Cowpasture River Rd and Nelsons Branch. I'm looking at trying a bit of the MABDR for the first time and this is the section I chose.

My wife had a Versys 300 for about a year. It was a touch too tall for her, so I rode it it quite a bit before we sold it. It was still set up for the street, and was never ridden "off road", as there weren't many places in this part of Florida for that.

You have to be on the gas, but it doesn't mind at all. :D

This is from the Facebook pages two days ago.

Just wrapped up about half of section 3, and all of section 2 today (I’m heading N to S).
Heads up: there is a lot of debris (branches, fallen trees, etc.) out there, as well as large puddles, mud, and it’s still raining.
Please use caution if you’re gonna go out there.

Hope some of you got to enjoy this nice weather here in the piedmont. Decided to leave the ktm in the stable and get the buell out. Did 100 mile trip down to Asheboro to look at a few pieces of conservative hardware. Cheers. 20210903_161616.jpg

I never thought I'd ever own one. I think Harley's in general are a click. But I have to say, I love this thing, it's so smooth.

@frotobaggins I was at the Barber Museum last Sunday, they had a whole section of Buells, 25 or more bikes, everything but a Ulysses, the one I wanted to see.

Took a nice ride northeast of Hillsborough this morning, perfect riding weather the past few days. Had to do a short turnaround to pay a visit to this farm stand…
