Smiles all around that’s how you know your having some big fun. Enjoy !
Decided to grab a bite before leaving the last 94 octane go juice machine.
The Heidout in Cranbrook.
Interesing shape for the appetizer plate.
Entre was more rounded. Halibut.
Nice presentation. Weird combination of flavors.
Totally tore it up.
I'll spare you the picture of desert.
Kate has a pretty smooth rear tire, but she'll probably want to wheelie some while we're still in Canada. She looooves that 94.
So, Critic....how's Desmo?
Can Desmo do the polite cat look?
Also, we seem to be low on poppin' icons this year....hint hint
Nice touch with the y’all in the guest book Merge, although I have never seen anyone from Texas eat raw fish let alone a something that resembles a vegetable
Merge is modern day Texan. Tries to roll with the times.
He's naturally a Republican, but he's a tree hugging Republican.
Plus he gets big appetites from skipping days of food. Like last night, he had sleep for dinner. Made up for it today.
Merge made if across ok.
Nice young man doing the interview.
Where ya from? What do ya do there? Any firearms, bear spray, undocumented Ann and Nancy Wilson CDs? Who is America's greatest enemy? What's the capital of Texas?
No firearms. No Human seasoning.
No Heart music, except Barracuda.
America's greatest enemy is the media.
Good job Mr. Johnson, you only missed 1.
Which one, Agent Smith?
You also have Even it Up and Straight On. Got a thing for Ann?
No sir, Nancy. She rocks that guitar.
Good day, Merge.
Usually feel the heat around Radium Hot Springs. Yep, it got warm. I've been not warm since Oregon and that badass chair.
Feels like summer.
I was bummed about the lack of excitement Alaska presented this year. The Yukon, Alberta, and BC have made up for that. Yay.
I skipped going to Stewart, Hyder this time, because the forecast was cold rain. Forever.
Thought I could grab a local Calgary steak, but Kate needs new shoes. No worries. She's my little girl. I got steaked ok.
Caught Eureka MT on a quiet evening. Nice. Just listening to tunes on the front porch sipping something comfy watching tick boy and Bambi chew some tree parts about 100 feet at 210. Told them to keep their ticks over there. Big ears. They called me dog breath. I barked twice. They gone.
It's also nice it gets dark overnight. Better sleeping.
Tuesday morning. Stateside. Northern Montana. In the park. Beauty day.
Random pics in the park.
We're going to the shoe store. Kate gets pampered these next few days. She's still got 8 liters of 94.
I scored an extra 3 liters (don't tell her)
She hinted about braaping that last micron of tread off with the delish gas.
Not a bad idea.
The good news is when the knobs are gone, you increase the contact patch and the wear slows down. That tire has tons of life left!
Oooh, good call!
I can use it at the drag strip.
I'll need longer wheelie bars, tho.
Wrong Cool Cat Man!
So, where's the cool cat?
Kate looks great girls and ladies do love their shoes.
Sipping coffee. Kalispell. Cafe off the main drag. Not touristy. Nice.
Katie's all perked up sitting in the morning sun showing all the passerby-s her new shoes.
She has that last 94 in the tank. Gonna give her fresh oil, too. Just because she's my little girl.
Sleep spot was wonderful. Dark overnight, yay! Cute little kids next door. One kept coming over offering to help me change tires. Walks around in her jammies. Made sure she said good morning to me before my omelette errand. Cute kid. Small versions of humans are cool.
Spokane Valley is my next stop. It's nice not having to schedule my routing away from cold rain.
Think I'll stay here one more day before rolling to East Washington. Winchester steak house has something delish in stock for me. Winchester reminds me of the MASH show's snooty doc. Like Ted's character on Caddyshack. Mmmm, mmmm, mmmm.
My hands don't hate me today, they are just disappointed in me. My left eye hates me. Tire spoon went flying and bipp! Can't see well outta that one now. Good thing I have two.
Pampered Kate these past two days.
Mostly clean, new shoes, oil, clean chain. Found some local 91 no eth.
She's just beaming. High, that is.
We rolled to the restaurant.
Docked beside the cruise ships.
I got properly dressed. Wearing my Bob Barker outfit. Matching belt. Shirt tucked.
The lights are low in the bar area. I'm not in a strip club.
Couldn't decide on the wine. Was in the mood for chilled chard, but I know that Mondavi is delish.
I ordered a steak, but the appetizer was seafoody.
Since there was more red meat to be consumed, you know which one I ordered.
Something fresh and seafoody, mushed just like Alpo. I did use that tiny fork. Once.
That was yum-nishious.
Beats the heck outta campground spaghettios I inhaled last night.
For the record, Kate was priority last night. That and my left eye doesn't work much after the ouch moment. I can live for another month or so without the left eye.
Can't live without the left
