You won’t go to jail. Someone nights send you home. Have a good excuse for being out like “looking for dog food” or whatever...

It’s a request for “voluntary shelter in place” at this point. Riding in the desert with the RV. HELL YEAH! I would definitely go. Do your thing. Stay away from people. Disinfect. Wash hands, don’t touch stuff. Keep extra distance from the elderly.

    I'm a rolling thunder, a pouring rain
I'm comin' on like a hurricane
My lightning's flashing across the sky
You're only young but you're gonna die
I won't take no prisoners, won't spare no lives
    Nobody's putting up a fight
I got my bell, I'm gonna take you to hell
I'm gonna get you, Satan get you
    Hell's bells
    Yeah, hell's bells
You got me ringing hell's bells
    My temperature's high, hell's bells
I'll give you black sensations up and down your spine
If you're into evil you're a friend of mine
See the white light flashing as I split the night
'Cause if good's on the left,
Then I'm stickin' to the right
I won't take no prisoners, won't spare no lives
    Nobody's puttin' up a fight
I got my bell, I'm gonna take you to hell
I'm gonna get you, Satan get you
    Hell's bells…

Good luck getting any fast treatment or sympathy right now. My wife is an RN and I can tell you if anyone comes in to the hospital hurt because they were out having fun riding dirt bikes or whatever during this thing.....yeah you'll get treatment, eventually, they still are all care givers and it's in their moral compass to help, but by no means will they go out of their way to accommodate you.

They are all in there busting their asses off and being exposed to everything and stressing about not only their health, but what they might bring home to their own families.......

You'll get treated and helped alright, but you'll be last in line (unless it's life threatening) for anything. Pain meds...... yeah, eventually.

A 2 year old throwing a tantrum, looking for permission.

Well, I posted above “hell yeah” just go...... but since then have now reconsidered. I called down there and talked to one of the rangers who told me everything is closed as they are on lockdown/shelter in place as well, even though the park itself is still open so far. But they are highly discouraging people from coming because if we get hurt or need any type of 911 services we are now exposing ourselves to all of them and all of them to us. And, great point above ^^^ about the hospital staff at the ER as well! So with that in mind I will do the right thing and stay home! Time for some serious garage time! Back on my 1999 Superduty Overland build, bike maintenance, and garage cleaning and sorting. No excuses now!

So far roughly .00000071% of the US population has died from Covid 19. Most recover. I think if you’re smart and cautious it’s ok to go for a ride

Your statement fails to understand the nature of contagion. "So far..."

This is Italy's curve as of today; we're 11 days behind...

I made that decision too, decided that as much as I want to go ride if I crashed and needed emergency response help that would just be a dick move for the already overloaded and stressed out 1st responders and ER staff. Plus it would put my family in a major bind.

I get how it works. Italy has the second oldest population on earth. They live in multigenerational situations. Their young exposed their old. We are much more likely to die riding a motorcycle than of Corona virus.
