Team moto in bris..hopefully get thread back on track and off oils
That's really not a bad price for one these
You going to buy a 450L ?
With no onions i hope.
Unless you live on the edge.
Someone actually buying one would help, but unforetunatly they are far and few between
Star Yamaha in Jimboomba (now carries Honda, so maybe they changed there name) had a couple on the floor when they first came out, I was in there a few weeks ago and they didn't have any on the floor but a few were getting unloaded from crates, so I assume they have sold a few.
I'm going in there tomorrow to order some parts so I might ask...
Nah...over the small bikes
Take in 3 litres of 2 stroke oil and you might get a discount!
You put 2 times the amount in the engine and that works i am told.
I'm a bit under 3l at the moment, I have been putting a small amount in my four strokes, and run the mower and whipper snipper on it, the mower is four stroke but I just love the smell.
See moorooka teammoto have crf250 rally demo with 127km on road for $6250 half price of 450
Is it half the bike???
Saw another two out and about today so they are slowly getting more out there.
Very different bikes with very different design briefs.
Team Moto.... Blugh, shudder, cringe.
I have a few acquaintances who have worked for Team Moto. One of them told me once "We sell finance and insurance, those things out the front with two wheels are just sparkly things to lure in the punters"
When it gets really really tight near the end of the month/financial year, they used to sell bikes for less than cost, knowing that they would make it up with the finance and insurance package. So the trick was, go in tell them you want finance to buy yamahodakasuzuki GSXZXR120rrrrr and whats their best price. Do not be afraid to lowball from hell. It aint personal. When they come back with the best price you have heard all year, go "Shit! Is that all! I'll pay cash then..... "
new Design Brief
you looking at one of these..??
i reckon you'd get bored with a new shiny bike..
unless you're getting old and prefer to ride over spanner.
say it ain't so..
i know i'm getting old, last GP on the way down i waved little Shannon past on his DL in the twisty stuff.
first year I've never had to re-weld the pegs back on the tractor after a GP trip..
yep, got old
the DR is still plodding along nicely.
hope alls good down your way
maybe catch up for a beer next GP trip if i'm around wherever you are down south - i see you list location inside a fridge, so that covers a lot of Victoria..
Shhh! Stop giving my shopping secrets away.
