New for 2019. We have set the date for May 11 Some folks have been asking about this ride, so here's the info. When: S̶a̶t̶u̶r̶d̶a̶y̶ ̶2̶8̶ ̶A̶p̶r̶i̶l̶ ̶2̶0̶1̶8̶ Where: From camp at the EFR ohv area to Riley and return. How: Mostly two track on high desert sand roads and Forest Service roads. Some pavement, some fast gravel. How hard: Sand, mud and ruts, rock, gravel. Nothing technical. Almost no single track, no bad stone gardens or gnarly hill climbs. Just long. How long: Long. 2̶5̶0̶ ̶m̶i̶l̶e̶s̶ 270 miles, probly 10 hous plus ride time. Not counting stops. What bike do I need: You need a plated bike for the paved bit and better than 150 miles of fuel range. Street tires not recommended. How many riders: We don't know yet for sure. Where is camp: Camp is the staging area on the NF25 road. Coordinates at the access are 43.78951, -121.03545 Paved roads get you to it, if you're hauling. Where do we get fuel: There is one fuel stop, at Riley. They have E0. If you short the trip, there is fuel at Hampton, sometimes. That will need to be checked before the trip. Don't count on it as of now.
