Struggling with my video editor. It works for a few minutes then, stops. Exit. Reload. Continue. Trying to finish the video from Unc and my ride to Wanganella.

Been playing with the GPS too.
Geez, I give up. Now the routes i just made from the tracks don't come up to load from the zumo. Next, try saving them to another folder and doing it from there.

Yep, you need to 'export' the .gpx file. I knew I'd done it before. Prick of a thing to try and remember.

See the straight line? That's because I copied the tracks into an alphabetic list, then had Basecamp convert them into a route. Of course, it read it in the order listed and decided somehow it needed to go back, rather than just making one continuous route. I did try to 'optimize' it but it didn't change. Fuck it's difficult.

    Nope, :D
been busy again with work and family so haven't checked in for a while, oh and i also managed to squeeze in a Vinduro which was the only one for this year. Gave the 81' IT250 and 89' XR600R a run and they both went well.

Great trip @tripodtiger , really enjoyed it. I need to find the time to do more of this sort of touring on the DRz :nod Maybe less Vinduro's next year and some long service leave might help to make that happen.

When you're not using that IT swingarm, Troy....watch out I don't steal it.

Outside Melbourne tonight. Came down yesterday as I can get home without a permit. First time visiting Ben since March, I think. This camper is pretty convenient. I didn't get here til dark, so couldn't get in to a 'van park as I'd left it too late. Never mind, I just drove up into the hills, found a gravel road and a level spot, with no house lights visible, and 5 minutes later I was in the sack.
Tonight I'm at Pakenham, so I've got power (hence on the 'net - I was shown how to tether the 'phone and the 'puter. Not something I could work out myself). Had a feed and a couple of beers and will shortly hit the sack again. Didn't bring a bike down as I thought Ben may come home with me. But, he bought a car today, so he can drive himself there.

Did a red coupla hundred kms today on my 'not red but orange bike.'

Best bit was hitting a 'rolly stick' while accelerating out of a Granya corner - woo hoo!! - straight to the laundry with those blue ringers :knary

Gday Paola..Went in by Snowy Ck. after a caf at Harrietville, nice and clean all the way to Dungey Track, then Pyramid Hill Tk. down to Simmonds Ck. some motor spirit at MB, then Damms Rd, and up Mountain Ck rd. From the camp ground there its the usual stony condition, but from Trappers all the way out to the other end was very nice, smooth, dry and a bit of dust.
The creek crossing on Snowy Ck, or Stony Ck ( not sure which,) was a lot wider and deeper but no prob, and I'm scared of water.
From home via Kancoona and Smarts Ck Rd, ( all in good nick ) popped out where it joins the Mt Porepunkah Rd, and took Tawonga Gap Tk. out to the lookout at the top of Tawonga Gap. It needs a touch up, loose, steep and and rocky ( not for the big bike ), but a coupla puddles down thru the undulations down the east end..down the bitty to Bright via Back German Ck Rd. bit more water in the ford than usual. Ovens R, was muddy at Bright but clear at Harrietville.
Was a good ride, plenty of sporties out, mostly on the wrong side of the road.
    Cool temps as well.
