That's what I figured. Plus, I can cut out more. Or put more holes through bits.

I have to make space on the left side so I can take the air filter out, without taking the peg off.

Despite my earlier confidence, I can't find a skateboard around here at all. Damn.

Back to it after a cuppa tea, dears.

    Went out with Dobbo today.
East to Umbango, Oberne, spoke with a farmer about tracks on maps that are now locked off, continued into the forest west of Batlow, found our way to a fire tower then Batlow for a pie, Yaven Creek and Ellerslie Rds, highway to Deltroit and Mundarlo Rds then back, via Martins Rd, to Ladysmith for a late drink and home. Great ride, too much bitumen, loads of gravel, some slippery twin track and lots of rocks.

Umbango Oberne Rd. Never been along here before.

    Somewhere up in Bago non-forest

Did you turn right at the end of the Umbango Oberne road and head up to Batlow via Westbrook? My old stomping ground up through there, grew up in the house behind the Oberne Creek fire shed.

Yep. We were looking for the various fire trails (eg Bembooka Trail) marked on every map you want to look at. Spoke to the farmer who owns Bembooka Lane. He said he bought the road from council. The neighbour to the rear owns 10000 h, all along the hill. It's closed. So we went to Taradale and turned left. I am led to believe that the plantations around there are all private. Further east, they are public forest with subject to closure for forestry works.

I had never seen the fire tower, mainly because this is the first time all the trees are gone. Very enjoyable ride, especially the overgrown twin track bits. I even rode through a muddy patch where Dobbo had the feet out.

I must say, for a bike that has that many k on it, his DR is bloody nice to ride. The result of regular maintenance.

Managed to get out on my Sherco, just before lock down. Met a mate who has just bought a WR250F and just happens to have some land that backs onto Livingston N.P. Having to carry my tool roll, spare tube, water etc... in a backpack, I found it just hammered my back and shoulders after a few hard landings.
So, I finally got around to fitting a tool bag to the rear fender, and a tube bag to the front.
Just for @tripodtiger I gave my mate a ride on my bike, so he could try the Stegz out....... he ordered some that night.

Spherical aberration. What's the actual width past the Paj's body line?

My clutch parts have finally arrived. Nottingham to London for a two week rest then back to Nottingham then to Dublin then Belfast then Killinchy then Belfast then Sydney then Wagga and finally delivered.

And, for the next opportunity at Vinduro -
I've been cleaning the old plastics and doing a few repairs. If you happen to know anyone that has some unwanted, spare plastics for one of these, let them know. Nothing on ebay or Gumtree at the moment.
Needs tyres and a chain but the front brakes work now, with a switch for a brake light. I've got a small tail / brake light ordered.
Maybe we could restart the red seat discussion?

It's just Spherical aberration, still within the mirror width on the Paj.
Plenty of bike racks available from various manufacturers (Rack n Roll, Ballards), but they are pretty flimsy and made from light materiel; so with my pride and joy on the back which weighs 110kg Wet, I wanted something sturdy, so my son built it for me and I then had a trailer building mob inspect it for me.

By the way, 'Red seats don't look cool'.:lol3

Can't or wont answer a simple question, eh? You practicing for a run at politics, Rodo?

Red seats are a thing. A thing of the past no doubt but, that's probably exactly where my head lives. The modern bit of me tells me it should be red topped with grey sides.

How'd ya go with the slight breeze t'other day. They build a different wind in Tas. I took the old man's boat out for a run just before he sold it, I saw 68 knot gusts across the deck, the sked was saying 80 knots top of the bridge, next day I was back in Albury and the BMM front page was screaming about the big winds we'd had. 90. Km/h.

I think if we don't have it, we want it.

No matter how many times I look at real estate webpages, I just fail to get any interest.:(

I really can't decide if I want a road bike or if it's just another place to take money away from what I'm already working on.
And almost nothing grabs me anyway. What would be suitable for me? Only thing I really like is a Speed Triple.

I keep thinking that I could get something bigger to replace the TTR and then think, why bother?

How fortunate am I. Not a question.
