Cheers and good luck to you guys who are running the VOID this weekend. I’m just 30 miles southwest of Richmond- holler if you need anything

I’m traveling the 2 weeks before the Niitwit but I’ll be damned if I cancel this one too- it will probably mean starting from home and just routing for a fun ride rather than points but I’m doing it

    Yep, good luck to all!
For this rally, do you get the bonus list a few days in advance?

The void? We have in the past, yes. A couple weeks of memory serves.

    Sorry, yes, the void.
Hopefully we will be able to start close to home for the Niitwit rally also. Doing the 60 hr version and won't have time to get far on the night before and still be able to get some sleep since my wife works late on Wed. Last year was great, our starting point was 30 minutes from the house.

The bonus list itself came out Saturday 9/29 one week before the start date of 10/5. The full rally book just got released this morning at 0500. Have a route that I'm content with. Weather forecast looks unusually decent considering it is the Void Rally. One more day of work and then off to my start location in Reading.

Best of luck to all my fellow riders!

Since you're apparently the cause of the Void weather curse thanks for staying home! Will be stopping for my rest bonus somewhat north of you as there is a bonus in Richmond I have in my route.

boonwife just pointed out that she is skipping a hunt tomorrow

I immediately said "I totally get it, next year for Columbus Day you do your horse thing and I'm going to ride the VOID"

    this is killing me :fall

    Any Void results yet?

Wish you could have made it Boondoggle, but hope to see you at the Niitwit finish!

I had a blast! Missed you at the finish - will be great to see you next year. So the PA trophies were a 2-up sweep, with @kendoo taking the win!

Finally found a way to crack the top 10 ... just kiss some ass

Too bad I won'r be in Nitwit but that was just one too many this year with time of. Good luck to you! Next years plan is the RNR, MD20/20, Void, and (if they do one) the Team Lyle NE. Plus TOH but thats really not a rally.

    Thanks!
It was awesome weather. Basically 60's and cloudy for 31 straight hours. Could not have been more perfect for a rally.

Congratulations! nice weather is good, hopefully Niitwit weather will be closer to normal this year instead of that Arctic hell we had last year! :lol3

I really want to ride the NIITWIT one year. I was on the fence for this year, as I had to chose between that or going to Dallas for the IBA shindig the week before the NIITWIT. Knowing the TLNE and Void rallies were in the weeks prior, I decided a relaxing weekend of kicking tires was in order. Good luck, I'm sure Troy and Paul will put on a good show.

Just missed the top 10 coming in at number 11 riding 2-up for the first time. Weather was definitely NOT normal Void weather.

It was great last year, for sure. I think Troy’s flying solo this time around.

Great finish you guys, remind me to start from somewhere other than Reading next year :lol3

well I'm running that gauntlet again :lol3

got my Niitwit flag today, Troy mentioned we might get waypoints and books today so I'm madly hitting "refresh" on my email

Of course I'm out of town wed-saturday, then Monday-Wednesday... and then next Thursday I'll pack the bike and roll, I think

This is gonna be my only rally of the year unfortunately and the timing isn't going to help my prep, but I'm looking forward to the ride.
