    Yep, always 2-up!

We are on the public Spot too, looks like a pretty good spread of riders. Really surprised that more didn't sign up but should be a good time.

Same here. It’s an IBR year, and I think the BAT took a lot of the usual suspects, plus being so close to the Void a lot of people had to choose. Only reason I could do both is that void is just 90 miles from my house

Troy does great rally books- though pretty much every rally book I’ve ever seen has been a masterpiece

Yeah - I could only do one and the Void was a choice also made by proximity and only needing 2 vaca days.

Would love to try next year. Good luck Lance!

Our choice of routes is coming down to the following. Freeze or get wet. Maybe both with the first choice!

I think we are going to choose route B. I'm not sure I can handle 40 degrees, 100 % chance of rain and 20-25 mph winds. In fact, I'm positive I can't handle it!
Route B is more miles, fewer points and higher chance of DNF but I'm paying for the pleasure of doing this and using vacation days so we'll just make the best of it, have fun and whatever happens, happens. :lol3

I have a really great and fun route plan which I am going to ignore in favor of taking the bit between my teeth in search of a higher score :lol3

Good luck to you guys, have a safe and fun trip. Starting from home or hitting the road tomorrow?

Leaving tomorrow after work. We got lucky the last two years and were able to start from home in 17 and about 80 miles from home in 18. This year, we have to go quite a bit farther since the number of bonuses is lower this time. Didn't plan for the extra miles the night before so we will be starting off as if we're on day two of the rally. :uhoh

I'll check the weather up till tomorrow afternoon but it's not looking promising for the route closer to home. No reason to be completely miserable for the first half. Rain is one thing, but rain and high 30s just isn't appealing to me.

Good luck and safe riding to you too.

thanks. I know I have the best plan I can make. Now I have to ride it, and get a little luck, or at least react well to bad luck. If all that comes together, I'll be happy. Win lose or draw, that's what it's all about.

really wish I'd done the 60 hour, the next 36 hours are gonna be insufferable :lol3

Have a safe and fun ride Lance. We will be heading out about 6 this evening. Wish we'd taken a half day off today, our rest period tonight will be about half of what the rally rest bonus is.:lol3

And I didn’t have a good answer for her :lol3

I got that this morning, it was about 36 at the time. I showed the guy the electric cords and said "I'm old. I cheat. Don't tell nobody."

I think I'm good. The only negative is that I don't have a good "bail" if things go bad- and the weather looks to be pretty wet so I'll probably end up wishing I had one.

There's a group spot but I'm not sure if it's ok to share it so I won't. The 60 hour riders started today, and there are folks spread from Amarillo to Orlando and all points in between.

My public links are in my sig- not sure how I got 3 for this thing, but they all seem to be working. I'm holed up in a decent little Quality Inn just east of Indianapolis, looking forward to a great start to the morning.

Hope everyone else out there had as good a day as I did.

    Waiting sucks.

This is always the most stressful part for me. The next five minutes just crawl
