About the same as spending a few months in a nursing home, everyday the same.
Hopefully they gave her a job, it would be something to do.

I love stories like this and the BikeWanderer who rode bicycle solo the entire length of the Canol Heritage Trail then floated down the McKenzie River till he intersected the Dempster Hwy below Inuvik.

All self contained. He floated down the McKenzie on the same little backpack raft he used to cross the rivers on the Heritage Trail.

My wife is a Kiwi and this is the first year in many we have not gone to visit the family in NZ and Oz.

Of course, they sent us the weather forecast of what we are missing.

However, to be fair, it was very nice this weekend in Vancouver Island and we did get out on the little bike for a ride in the hills.

Bloody Hell, New Zealand, -7 in Hope, BC, Canada right now. Although I did a little riding last week at 7 positive. My dumb nephew is at -40C in Fort MacMurray right now.

I used to live in Hinton, Alberta for one winter.

It feels colder here at -2 than the -30 up there. Damp.

It was pretty cold here last week, but we made it through. Feel sorry for the folks down in Texas that aren't used to the sub zero temps they are getting.
