Roadbook Holders

    GREETINGS--

    DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE WITH THE TOURATECH RB-TT OR RB-O1 ROADBOOK HOLDERS ? OR HOLDERS FORM OTHER MANUFACTURES? IT WOULD BE USED ON WITHER MY 81 R80GS OR 01 KTM ADVENTURE. ALSO WILL EITHER UNIT MOUNT ON THE ROADBOOK HOLDER MOUNT SOLD BY KTM FOR THE ADVENTURE?

    I've used the Touratech TT-RB on a friends F650GS Dakar, and have to say that once you ride with a well-prepared roadbook and a GPS it's hard to go back. The Touratech stuff is very well-made - BMW used the carbon fiber version the last time they won the Dakar. I know they have taken many falls on my friends bike and are more rugged than most of the parts attached.

    If you don't need the electric and have more space, the Compact version is nice - attached is a picture of one mounted on a 1150GS:

    I'm not familiar with the roadbook holder that KTM sells, sorry.
