Stephanie and I are thinking of going up to do day two and three Roaming Rally rides next weekend. Anyone interested in going as well? We'd probably start at Sharbot Lake in the morning, then Renfrew KOA overnight, and the Quebec part on Saturday.

We weren't able to do so last weekend as our dog sitting arrangements fell through, and we needed to come home. And as others have said, two late nights/early rising took their toll as well and we weren't feeling quite up to it. I mean waking up at 4:00AM is even earlier than a normal week day for us.

That was such an epic ride! I hope Everyone who got hurt is recovering. Like Arron and the Canadian who's allergic to peanuts (sorry that I forgot your name again dude). I'll post pictures soon. I got to manhattan at midnight on Monday and ended up tearing the streets up till 4 am with my buddy on the bikes. Slept in only to ride another 100 miles around manhattan and the surrounding areas. Then paid $7,500 in tolls to get out of there. Got home at midnight.

Here's a little video (I know the video is way too long, but hell... that was a long ride) of the Roaming Rally.

great meeting so many new people, and the Roaming Rally 2012 was a World Class Event in every way.

    cheers

Awesome pics mama coast guard! We all really appreciated what you did for us. Very few people are willing to drive the chase truck.

We're thinking of spending both Friday and Saturday nights at the Renfrew KOA so we won't need to carry all our gear the whole time. We won't get all the way up to Notre Dame du Lau, but it should be fun anyway.

Nice pics, Martin, and it was great riding with you again. That picture of the four of us late on Saturday captures what was a truly great day on a bike.

And of course, I have to give props to the Funduro!

Hey, that would be great if you could make it. We now have a reservation for Friday and Saturday nights at the Renfrew KOA. Site 82, with options to change that if we want when we get there. Their number is 800-562-3980 if you need it.

And heres the carnage from the ride. I only was around for a few things.

Here's where Bob went into the bushes because he came into a corner a little to hot on day 1. Messed up his ankle pretty good. Still finished the ride like a champ.

On day 1, one of my front brake lines mounts came loose and my brake line got lodged between the tire and the fender. Drif10 to the rescue. Turns our Woodys KTM shop was 20 kms away from the gas station where Jim found me.

And the nastiest wreck that I encountered. You'll have to get his story on what happened. I dont want to get the details wrong.

Since I don't care about overloading servers, here's even more pictures!

For some reason the song "You down with o.p.p, yeah you know me" got stuck in my head. I wonder why.:lol3 (and "Naughty by Nature" sang that one)

This is probably one of my favorite pictures. We came across a bunch of drunk French Canadians with this on their quad. And Flanny needed to hop in the picture.
