    What are the planned dates?

Because entries are already open for the RidaTonneau in the Gatineau & Papineau-Labelle region for the last weekend of May. It's a PokerRun and fund raiser event and I'm hoping I can do Roaming and RidaTonneau.

    Cheers

From what I hear you now have hired bodyguards and travel in an armored vehicle to protect yourself from the flak coming from all those that drowned themselves and/or bike on previous editions. Not counting snapping turtles, leaches and water snakes that are pissed off from all the traffic going through their swamp.:grim

    cheers

Thought it was good in all the years I've attended, I don't think the intent is to create the impossible adventure, just a challenging enough ride due to distance and obstacles that leaves you with enough time and energy at the end of the day to tell lies about your heroic riding. I mean RR16 was pretty complete, I used up some clutch fibre towing a fuel starved bike because its owner has two speeds, full on full off; helped revive a couple bikes because their owners needed a bath; sold a house (for real, wife drove 3 hrs to find me to finalize the deal); I think there may have been a beer or two consumed a leach or ten punched in the face and statements like - "my GPS is fucked its saying we need to ride down that waterfall" were probably ubiquitous.

I could do with a little less water as I don't find it overly fun as an obstacle in of it self. Now if some trucks dropped raft making equipment I had to assemble a raft and work with other teams to ferry bikes across a section, that would be Camel Trophy like and THAT is something I can get excited about.
