I'm curious, was that part of the official trail, or did he go off on an adventure into the vast unknown?

More to follow with some "waterfall" action.... and a little bit of day 2 action.

Got some vid of you but you were half way up having decided the best plan of attack was attack now plan later. Seems this was the best COA as you made it up pretty cleanly without.

It's funny how I watch this and only remember parts of it. Some sections were quite steep but can't quite tell from the video. The end of it I remember quite well I took the same line as you while the other guys took another and got stuck.
Nice vid can't wait to see the waterfall.

Part 3 - Clearly its late in the day and I'm getting tired (a little swearing but spirits are still good). I didn't get @tattewell going up the waterfall, but he committed right away and made it up unassisted. But before we get there, we get a little rocky hill to warm up with and I lose the trail trying to find a way around a group of downed trees.

    hi all

haven't had the minerals to do the roaming rally..yet!..maybe one day (don't like swimming!)...anyway, I was wondering if anyone could point me to some trails that are considered intermediate and not crazy technical...live in bells corners and go up and down the KP trail..now I need something a LITTLE more challenging.....please advise on places to go...preferably in same area as KP/LAVANT/HOPETOWN area...like taking breaks and getting gas at hopetown....

    thanks

    tj

So sad I'll miss the 2018 edition of a great event as I'll be here in the UK until summer 2019 but if it's any conciliation James, you're welcome to come and join me for the Hellas Rally in Greece in May and leave the rest to Ted to manage back home :)
