Seriously though...you may want to edit your post and remove your email. You don't need to be logged in to see stuff and that can be mined by bad actors. That's what private messages, or "conversations" are for.

Time to start spring maintence, so I'll be ready for Pre-riding! 20190309_141125.jpeg

Hi guys. Very experienced off-road rider looking to join/form a team for this event. 53 YOM on DRZ400 loving to get in the mud/rocks/hills on my bike. I'd say my skill level is advanced plus I am a licensed motorcycle mechanic so handy in a pinch. Not one for tent camping however but I have a small pop-up trailer which could be used for this event if logistics permit. Looking to join a team or form one if enough interest. Reply on this or text 613.885.6100.
Video is a spring crossing in 2018....exhaust and airbox got filled but thanks to a standing upright position all drained out without oil contamination!

By the way I am looking at the RR Classic Event May 24-26.

    Thanks

Nothing like a bit of Spring maintenance to get the riding juices flowing!

Yep! And my Maintence list is long!

Change all fluids...oil, coolant, fork oil, fresh clutch and brake fluid...
    Grease/replace all bearings
New fork springs, re-valve fork base valves
Build and install oil tank drain hose
Re-route front cross over brake line
    New Chain & sprockets
    Install new Mosfet RR
    Replace balancer shaft seal
    Check valve clearance
New tubes&tires (thinking of trying Michelin Desert Race just for kicks)

Started to cross things of the lost yesterday! IMG_20190319_202147_915.jpeg

Anyway, im interested to find some other team members or join some other team, because this event sounds fun! And Philly isnt too far, right?!

I was an advanced+ rider, living and breathing motos while i lived in San Francisco. I raced supermoto for several years, many tours in baja, tons of dirt in the foothills of the Sierra’s. .. now im 42 living in philadelphia.... Instead of a stable of many bikes, I only have a triumph 800xc. I can still ride but perhaps a little rusty. And would prefer to ride a good day and take the licks than wuss out and go home.

. Also looking for a group to join. 58 YOM relatively new to dirt but rode a drz400 6000 km across the Australian outback last fall, so not a total newbie. I'm a paramedic so also handy but mainly if someone is having a really bad day! Live in Ottawa and can provide staging area for a team plus a place to stay pre/post race.
