that might as well be a picture of my house.. I'll let someone else take this one... great pic though..
Almost top of Black Bear Pass before the descent.
You got it! Take it away!
Not sure how you got there but you're looking across the rio colorado at castle valley with castleton tower and the la sals in the far left. Cool spot, how'd you get there?
Top of the World access is just after Dewey Bridge on the way to Moab.
This is opposite Dewey Bridge, it is on Dome Plateau on the west side of the river looking east. Take a left on the North/West side of Dewey Bridge, upland draw rd I think is the name.
very cool pic John.
Enduro-ince and nwcolorider are correct with nwcolorider being more detailed about the actual trail to get to this overlook. The overlook is actually off of a little known route accessed from the Dome Plateau trail that takes off to the NW from the north side of Dewey Bridge and to the south of Cisco, Utah. Part of it is on the Kokopelli Trail. Great lunch spot.
The Top of the World trail takes off from the south side of Dewey Bridge and can still give ya a view of this valley but further east than this overlook and is also on the south side of the Colorado River. This overlook is on the north side of the Colorado River.
The flatter and somewhat longer rim in the furtherest distance is the east side of Porcupine Rim which borders Castle Valley. The rock formation known as the Priest and Two Sisters/Nuns is also visible in this photo.
Gotta give this one to nwcolorider!
I am at work late, it is homecoming week and gotta sponsor the float building and no pics on this puter.
O .T. but which brand/ type of oversized tank is on the Honda that lets you still use the Works Connection radiator braces, most OS tanks require you to remove the braces.
I think its the IMS 3.2 gallon tank.
Maybe the Taylor Pass Rd? Or the one that leads west on the north side of the pass
@mylsmkj yeah close enough. it was either taylor pass divide (761d) or tilton trail (before it turns to singletrack)... depending on which map you're looking at.
you're up bossman!
@redrock88 That is a neat area up there and my access to the TP and CB trails.
Please quote this post if you guess so I get a notification please. Thanks-
That would be Carnage Buena Vista.
