How about a plated husky 501 3 wheeler set up for the long haul? Saw this in Lake City over the weekend.

I have one of these for sale super cheap.. It could use a new paint job, I'm missing the threaded hitch pin (I just use a 5/8" expansion bolt) and the jack I bought to replace the original is a tad taller so you have to sometimes lift the bike on to the platform depending on how and where your rig is parked. I know, it sounds like a POS but the price is right! $75 and six pack of dales.

LOL... after recent trips to Sargents and Uncompahgre, the tough sections required to get to the goods are making me wonder if 61 might be a good time to stop smashing my body into rocks...

Also to do that, I'd have to pull the trailer down there... ;/

Anyone hear rumors about charging people to ride Rampart next year? I heard this rumor from a ranger over the weekend. Kinda sounds like one of those rumors that gets passed around every so often.

Technically I guess they already do as you are supposed to buy the OHV pass to be on the trails. Would be pretty hard to charge people at every entrance to the trail system but I guess they could charge parking for those that don't ride all the way up... Maybe that could be the new rumor to start...

Vail Pass does that in the winter, daily use area.
It's part of the reason I don't ride there anymore. :dunno

(which is funny, because that's one of our permit areas :lol3 )

It seems that most people come in the main entrance and they only drive in far enough to find a parking spot. I imagine you could make a lot of money charging $5/head at the north entrance. I can see some complications though. Imagine if everyone tried to drive in from Palmer Lake on 320. :Ruskie

I can see a fee of some sort encouraging people to explore other trails/areas. Call me selfish, but I don't look forward a day when the typical rampart riffraff gets dispersed among the less popular trails.

They should charge a fee at Rampart but they need to install multiple dumpsters as part it. More bathrooms as well.

If you haven't noticed a trend....people are disgusting pigs.....

I think you should have to pass an IQ test to ...

    A) Breed
    B) Recreate on public lands
    C) Breath my oxygen period

Yeah I know I am so sick of going to use a restroom out there and essentially walking into a make-shift landfill I could puke. Literally.

I had to put gas in the moto from a Denver station. Bike ran like crap almost immediately. Flame outs and hard starts. Fucking bullshit that ethanol free is no where to be found in Denver or almost all the front range.

Sounds like something beyond just the ethanol. You got some bad gas, maybe water?
