ALTERRA announced yesterday that they'll be suspending operations at all of their 15 resorts (CO, CA, UT, etc.) as of this morning.
So that shuts us down here in Steamboat Springs about a month early.
I haven't heard anything about the Governor having anything to do with that? :scratch

The weird thing is that most of our properties are currently at 75%-90% occupied!
Not sure what's going to happen with those folks? Seems to me that they'd want to get back to their homes?
I drive a shuttle for a lodging company here in Steamboat (9 properties) and we are still expected to report to work the next few weeks.
We just had our first 2 confirmed cases on Friday ................ 2 visitors that are now quarantined.

In light of everything ............................ I think a desert trip sounds like the right thing to do! :D

CDPHE strongly advises all visitors and residents of Eagle, Summit, Pitkin, and Gunnison counties to minimize social contact

DENVER, March 15, 2020: Due to extensive spread of COVID-19 in a number of mountain resort communities, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) strongly recommends that anyone who lives in or has visited those communities in the past week minimize their contact with other people, in order to reduce the spread of the virus.

That road looks like it'd be a total hoot on a KTM.

Officer Grumpy is just as delightful as always. I have no idea how many people are living in that house these days but it sure seems to be over capacity :confused

Wonder how many people to die before Fenn realizes this whole thing was a bad idea. It is Darwinism at it's best though.
