ALTERRA announced yesterday that they'll be suspending operations at all of their 15 resorts (CO, CA, UT, etc.) as of this morning. So that shuts us down here in Steamboat Springs about a month early. I haven't heard anything about the Governor having anything to do with that? The weird thing is that most of our properties are currently at 75%-90% occupied! Not sure what's going to happen with those folks? Seems to me that they'd want to get back to their homes? I drive a shuttle for a lodging company here in Steamboat (9 properties) and we are still expected to report to work the next few weeks. We just had our first 2 confirmed cases on Friday ................ 2 visitors that are now quarantined. In light of everything ............................ I think a desert trip sounds like the right thing to do!
