Looking for someone with a big bike (and a big stator) locally that wants to try a set of our monster 5 XM-L LED lights at a ridiculously low price. You will need sturdy mounting brackets for these lights.
The catch? We want mounting pictures and comparative night pictures, and feedback on the performance. The price? $150 for the set. That's $125 off normal pricing in exchange for photos and feedback. Only one set, so first dibs gets them. We're in Centennial, CO (Arapahoe and Colorado). Happy to assist with install if desired. Shoot me a message if interested.
These lights are monsters, putting out 5000 Lumens each. Here's a set mounted on a customers GS, along with a set of Piaa 520's for size reference.
Customer supplied night photo's - 1st one is stock headlight and the PIAA 520's:
This is stock headlights and a set of LR5's
Thanks for looking!
Dibs..Sending a PM...
Well, that was fast - lights are claimed!
replied to your PM
Justin - what's the power draw per side on the LR5's?
...still haven't had the time to mount the lights I got from you yet - still waiting for a few other parts to arrive that were backordered.
Blake - the LR5's pull about ~45 watts each. They might be a little big and heavy for the FJR and the brackets you have, if that's what you were thinking :)
no....the FJR doesn't have the electronic headroom.
I was just curious, that was the one spec not included, but you did suggest a 'big stator'.
That's why I picked up the lights from you that I did - the PIAA 1100X's I had on my first FJR were a big draw for not much light.
We're are hosting a Bike Night again this year at Performance Cycle. We usually round up around 500 riders or so for a fun night of two-wheels, food and giveaways. Don't miss out! Saturday, June 28th 5-9pm.
