    Saddlebag (pannier) repair?

Hey gang, I have embarrassingly burned a 3" hole in the back rear of my right factory pannier due to recently fitting my GPR pipe and not leaving enough clearance between the pipe and bag. I rode the bike 1 hour in cool temps (60 or so F) and it burned right through the black plastic of the pannier. I am so bummed and don't want to spend $600 or so to replace the bag for a 1 hour mistake.

Have any of you found a way to cut out and plastic weld in a replacement piece to repair such an issue?

Many thanks - else I'm LOVING my Capo 12!

Ebay or buy a Givi bag in place of the stock Aprilla branded Givi bag.

Capo18.jpg Roll call, I am now the owner of Closed Casket's ex Caponord. He even provided a new pannier.

tried multiple times through the day and no start.. the next morning it start as soon as i hit the starter... let it run a bit and then tied it and no start...

I would not think that due to the fact that it does not seem electrical at all... there is not problem rolling over, fuel pump sequencing on..
i have been starting it ever morning or so the last week and it fires right up.. it has had multiple tanks of gas so that does not seem to be the concern.

    Hmmm...I hate gremlins!

    Loose connection?
    Throttle postion sensor off?
    Bad plug(s)?
    Plug wire?
    Someone living in the airbox?
Mass air sensor ports clogged? (if it even has them, which it prob does not)
    Throttle bodies gummed up?
    Battery carrying enough amperage?
    Fuel filter bad?
    Fuel pump dying?

I am certain it is either one simple thing or a combination of simple things.

    Let us know!

Go read about the problems with the first Africa Twins and their ground/short problems and that might change your mind. :D
