Left 3 bikes (Kawa VN900, KTM Adv, RSV Mille) from Romania on 4th of june 2008, heading Casina (RE - Italy) bikers meeting, organized by the italian club Tingavert. In our way we wanted to reach Osoppo (Udine-Italy) to their bikers meeting too. We've heared it's one of the biggest in Europe. Last year there were around 30000 ppl. Soooooo....

We crossed Romania in 1 day and we slept in Oradea (just before the hungarian border). We vanished 2 bottles of whiskey and slept for 3 hours.

The next morning we jumped into Hungary and keeped on going until the police found us as a good target to stop and control. They looked very fast at our documents, took on video tape all those beautiful moments, asked a lot of shit and left us go. We did it very fast (remember the whiskey) and didn't stop until we reached the croatian border.

Rain rain rain. Very nice roads in Croatia. We ran out of the rain and we managed to cross the country in that day. We arrived in Rijeka, a nice city right on the shore of Adriatic See and booked in a hotel (the cheepest *** 80 euro/room).

The next morning we headed to Slovenian border, crossed it... and stoped right next to a duty-free to refuel with whiskey. But we were unlucky when a bottle of Jack was 27 euro. Unhappy faces :cry

The next stop: Trieste. Viva Italia! I love the italian air! We breathed some of the port air and then had a ride on the hills near the shore. Again rain.

On my way to Osoppo... c'mon Chif, I know you can... burn it!

Finally we're there! Very well organized, very cool beer, good food, stunt shows, burn out shows, a lot of european moto clubs, very cool bands on the scene, hot pornstar stripper after midnight, lots of small biker shops, nice custom bike show... We took care to fill our pockets with whiskey before entering the camping (inside only beer selling) and we had a very good time there, even that we stayed only for friday night.

The next morning extremelly hot. The sun melted us and we couldn't wait to ride, to cool out. Packed all the stuff, said goodbye to our german tent neighbours (from Munchen) and jumped into the traffic towards Casina (Reggio nell'Emilia). We passed Venezia (great memories there), Padova, Bologna, Modena and then quit the highway. The weather turned grey and the clouds showed no mercy. We crossed a very curved and beautiful area, between high hills and mountains (lots of sport bike activity)

Then we arrived at Tingavert bikers meeting. We met our italian friends and started to taste the grapa (italian hotty), whiskey and beer, sangria and by mistake a little water. Great pizza also and very friendly people. We enjoyed a lot their company. Then we slept on some camping beds inside a Red Cross lounge, cause we had to dry all our clothes.

That looks like a fantastic ride! I look forward to meeting you guys later this summer. In fact I'll try to make it to the big party in Putna in August if I can get the scooter shipped over fast enough. I was there earlier this year to see Stefan Cel Mare.

After the strong italian morning coffee, we had long highway ride towards north. The Alps became bigger and bigger and the weather hotter and hotter.

We finally left the highway and headed towards Dolomites.

As soon as the "higher" and the "hotter" met, the rain born. Again. Even with that, the landscape is awesome! Bikers paradise!

We passed the gorgeous place Cortina d'Ampezzo and then slept in a small hotel 17 km before the austrian border, in the village Dobbiaco.
The next day we crossed Austria and Hungary, no history, just 160 km/h on highway. We entered Romania and had a rest, 1 bottle of grapa (gift from our italian friends Luca and Filippo - great drink, thank you thank you) and a couple of beers.
The final day, the final ride, the final history. In my beautiful and beloved country, in the well-known region of Dracula's Transylvania, I took the biggest hole in asphalt ever and my trip ended.

Sooooooo, after 6 hours of waiting, pizza, beers, coffees, the trailer came and after another 6 hours of mountain roads, sleep-on-the-wheel, red bulls, colas and good morning sun shine, we got home. :clap
Radauti - bed - try to sleep - no sleep after 4 red bulls - shit!!! - Ana-Maria, are you sleeping? Of course yes! - Damn!!!
