The Reading (PA) Off Road Riders will be holding their annual ECEA / AMA sanctioned enduro this Sunday, May 27th. Keytime is 8AM. The event will be held near Pottsville PA. Information and a description of the run available at rorr.org. RORR is a rock run and known for being one of the tougher enduros on the circuit. Terry
Over 200 riders showed up for an unusually beautiful day for the RORR enduro yesterday. I was working signup, HI, and a forest road used twice to get the riders from here to there. As was said, RORR is known as a rock run, so I did manage some photo around the course, this would be one of the larger rocks riders had to deal with.
Who laid out that 10 mile section after lunch? Satan himself?? Not that it was impassible just loooong.. I guess I need to work om my conditioning !!!
Thank God I don't do that shit anymore......It was alot of fun Nice. Robert didn't find you TZ and I couldn't make it. See you.
i DID 6 MILES OF THE 10 MILE 2ND LOOP ON MY 640. i DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU GUYS WERE CRING ABOUT. That check should have been thrown out. I road in passed a guy then about 2 mi. later i passed him again, also i saw a guy cut the coarse by 2 min. i told the club and they did nothing about it. He got second in his class and if you look at the results he was 2 min. faster then every one else. Oh well i guess no one else could figure that out. Other then that i had a great day i did 95 mi. all together on the 640.
I'll back up Moto Mike's claim to riding it on a 640 Adventure as I saw him riding through a tight section just after the start of the second half. The front end of the 640A really stands out from the other enduro bikes on the trail. Nice to see RORR didn't leave out too many challenging sections for this year's run. One of my main reasons for being a member of the club was to escape having to ride that run every year!! Terry
Nightstalker takes such great photos, I am more convinced now, I dont want to "ride the rocks".......... Nice job "T"
