I have been using the NewRoute app for iPhone to plan routes. It allows me to hit waypoints along a route and then traces the road map to that point. I might have 20-40 waypoints along the route. It also traces my location along the route while I'm riding. It's a kickass app, but is no longer supported and the road map is from 2015. Is there an iphone app that people use to do the same thing?
Try the Galileo Pro app. Build a route on google earth and email it to yourself. download it to the app and viola. Done! use in airplane mode for a true GPS. It makes tracks and can add waypoints
InRoute also allows you to guide by waypoints, and will do turn by turn if you need it too....You can share the route through the app as a GPX file.....
