My beer bet is the alloy hoops shave 8.5 to 9 pounds off the weight.

Add that to the 8-9lbs for the Delkevic exhaust and you’ve got some room for adding the racks and bags/tools etc w/o getting too hefty. :thumb

    I wish.
My (albeit wider) rear Excel, 340g lighter.
Less the vulcanised TL seal, maybe 800g less or 1.7 lbs.
In my experience weight savings from alloy over steel are not so great – but there are other benefits.

Bigger (but sprung) weight savings to be made in changing the shock and, as said, the pipe.

K... 4.25lbs lighter per wheel... Thats with factory tires and tubes re installed. The butt dyno is way more important than any numbers on a sheet lol...
And yes, there is a definite difference in ride quality and perceived acceleration. Turn in is way easier even at low speeds. Remove 4.25 lbs from the outside of a rotating mass and it WILL make a very noticeable difference! Changing my hot rod 165hp Harley rear wheel and rotors was good for .2 sec in the quarter..

Curios to see if the Belgium spec models come with stroopwafel holder warmer under the seat instead of a document holder.

You've got your countries mixed up there. Stroopwafels are dutch, from the netherlands. Belgium is the place with all the good beer and has 4 governements... :D

My buddy the two wheeled mad man of Heasseltweg tells me Stroopwafels are fairly popular in Belgie. Maybe its just the guys he hangs with, I don't know. I do know when he shows up here with wine..I don't ask how, I'll just say beer ain't the only good thing you guys got going on over there. :-)

Hey, I live in France but only two hundred metres from Belgium ! my nearest town is Tournai and I was over there this morning to load up on beers. Vedette IPA , Leffe , Duval, Delerium they have an amazing selection to choose from but watch out for the strength. Love the Belgians and Love Belgium but not Guy Verhofstadt hehe.
