Let me try to post a photo of my LUV. Camping lately in the LUV, my KLR is broken. Hence my surfing ADV looking at Himilayans and CRF 250 Rallies, sort of hoping I can't get the KLR fixed.

pasted below, we'll see if either works.

Close, it's a MK1 Escort. And yes, sportster. I have a 73 Shovel as well which is about half done.

Thanks for starting the thread. I have a deposit down on a 2018 Himalayan and I am just waiting for delivery in the USA. I can't wait!

Is US pricing known? I would consider one to ride to TdF one way.

    I think $4500 is correct.

    Hi Bill,
Thanks again for all the rally support over the years!

Geo - did the dealer give you an estimated delivery date? Curious as to when they arrive.

The First Pinned Post on the above link is the BS3 Service Manual for those of you that are interested in looking at it. The new model that will be released in the USA is a BS4 with EFI.

Is there a way to share large files on ADVRIDER. I couldn't figure out how to attach it.

Did the dealer quote you a price or just a range?

Sounds like this spring they will be in the US.

The dealer gave me the $4500 range and said that they should be available in March or April.

Oficial US MRP is $ 4,500
It's up to each dealer if they want to give any discount to pre order early adopters.

    Hi from the Philippines!

Just got my Himalayan a few days ago and I must say, for our road condition, its been FANTASTIC so far.

I used to ride nakeds and cruisers and those bikes just turned out to be too troublesome for our roads and so I ended up selling them.

The closest thing to this bike that I had was my KTM duke 690 and even if the KTM had about triple the HP, I gotta say I don't miss it since I cruise at 80-100kph anyway. And I feel I can go a heck of a lot more places with the Himalayan. I actually look for the rough stuff now haha!

My main concern of course is quality but so far Alles Gut!

    Cheers![IMG]
