At least you didn't go flying off in to the water like the mad Hungarian in the Gumball Rally film. :rofl Good story!

Didn't you know that bait shops always recommend the lures/flies that haven't been selling well, not what actually works! :rofl

    Great story!

I didn't think you were allowed live bait in that stream Mate !! I mean that is a bait fish ain't it?

This is Luke's first fish on a fly road , he was using 3lb break and a nymph.

Good yarn though Mate, i can remember showing off to my young nephews how well i could cast and ended up with a hook firmly embedded in my forearm .

Holy heck where did Luke catch that! :eek1

I dunno what is crazier... the fact Luke caught that his first time fly fishing or the fact that he's grown 2 feet and 70 lbs in the last 2 years :D

Having recently pulled a barbed treble hook from my nose (with Dysco's help) I can truely sympathize with you pain. Reading this I was laughing so hard the nurses at work started asking me it I was alright. Thanks.

holy heck... this story was over 10 years ago?!?

I stopped and checked out the creek on my way home from work today (I just got back from four days fly fishing on the Yampa).

Time to load the fly rod on the bike again :D :norton

Great bike, I first saw one in 1976 when I went to Europe as a 17 year old. I still love them.
