Fuck, what a clever dick you are then. Pat yerself on the back and feel free to revert to your usual drivel.
Spark is ok I use them them I’m there Off the plane, right outside the arrivals change the sim for me and bonus data. Coverage was fairly descent I found. Best of the bunch, much better than the red and white mob. Me thinks Oscars young bloke is a bit of a wig with them. If I recall they were doing free data / streaming for the World Cup and the fucking inept TMO précks
A couple of years ago the Aussies experimented with 2pt penalties, 6pt tries and the reg 2pt conversions. They tried it in one of the lower leagues but didn't take it any further. Kicking is an element of the game like mauling or the line out, they all favour the team that can execute them properly. Changing the rules to eliminate a problem nearly always causes others. Look what's happened to the scrum over the last 20 years; rule changes galore that have turned one of the highlights of the game into a proper turn off.
ha ha ha - drivel I can do. I was in a bit of a Machiavellian mood last night and I detected it might be easy to wind you up on this one. Couldn't resist. The main reason I am not watching a lot of the world cup, besides not wanting to pay yet another subscription to yet another media provider, is that we have recently moved and video on dial up is not flash. Fibre does not come to the boon docks of Muritai, Eastbourne for a few months yet. So replays on free to air is my lot, when I can be bothered.
Tier 1 defenses have become almost stifling, especially in first phase play. Even tier 2 nations have good first phase defense.
It actually got to the point (humble brag: last year I was coaching at CSUN) where I had to coach our offense to attack on turnovers and multi phase plays. It's rather stilted at first phase. Even in our DII college level.
England just beat the All Blacks in an emphatic win today. Twelve points up with two disallowed tries. My God we looked dominant, against most of the predictions. Hats off to Steve Hansen though, he was very magnanimous in defeat, praising the English team and thanking the Japanese for such a marvellous tournament. Can we put the ‘arrogant’ English thing to bed please? Instead of reading regional newspapers, listen to what the English say in recorded tapes where you can watch them. They are ALWAYS respectful of the opposition - win or lose. They never say anything arrogant. I can only assume this ‘arrogant English’ thing is biased reporting.
This thread seems to have gone a bit quiet. Before England v NZ my favourite game was Japan v Scotland; both sides playing classic attacking rugby. Really looking forward to the final.
Truth be told I have not watched a single game of this entire world cup. It has failed to engage my interest.
I don’t know who you are but you’re talking bollocks. The Japanese were simply amazing in their pool games. There has been some astonishing rugby! Watch the games or shut up!
Not bollocks. I said it failed to engage my interest. Obviously it caught yours. No need for you to feel threatened that it hasn't with me.
I commented only to say go South Africa, the rest has been to respond to questions. If that is your definition of trolling I don't care. I have an interest in who wins but not enough to be bothered watching it.
The rose will bloom bright. The Bok's better have a better game plan if they don't want to be embarrassed.
The Japanese have put on a wonderful World Cup, and played some of the best rugby I have ever watched. I have loved the whole thing. Admittedly, getting to the final has upped the ante quite a bit! I expect I'll be shouting at the screen with the best of them come Saturday. (No worries here mr. Kiwi, I noticed your smilie use. )
