Thanks, I was playing friendly with a bit of cheeky banter. Enjoy watching it.

I sure did like the result :clap

My concern is, do England have another outstanding game in them ? They were magnificent against The Convicts and out of this world against the AB so DO they have another superlative game in them ? Let's face it, England DO have form in this area...if the RIGHT England turn up, they will win but if not....who knows.

    You have your answer.

South Africa had the big game in them when it counted.

Personally I'm pleased they won the game and the cup.

By all accounts Japan put on a good show as host, as already mentioned earlier in this thread by others played outstanding rugby.

Yup. As I suspected and feared, it was one game too many. I knew within 5 minutes England were't going to win.

had a high school friend late 50's Honolulu, he ended up at University of California at Berkeley playing rugby and football, over the years we lost contact etc but have heard he passed on. Stan bequest his estate to the University of California Berkeley rugby program.

    Well done the Boks.
Perhaps not the most interesting of games to watch but SA had a plan which worked.
It was also played in great spirit.
Proud of England and desperately sorry for Kyle Sinckler.

Good one from Wales, and Ireland didn't win that match so much as Scotland lost. :dunno

There are 2 England rugby sides. There is the one that played the AB in the semi-final of the RWC and the other is the side that played SA in the final. The one that played SA turned up this past weekend :baldy

As bad a first half as I've ever seen from England.

Maybe Jones will STFU in the future and focus on coaching rather than the bullshit psychological games he likes to play that do little but rile the opposition up.

Big game next week against Ireland.

Lose to Ireland and they could get the Slam. Beat Ireland and we’re all up and running again.

Then we just beat Wails and take the trophy!

Personally, I like Eddie and I love his win/lose ratio. I can’t think he lost the final to S.A. He got the team there and they lost it. I think he needs to replace Ben Young’s and Eliot Daly.

Ouch, France is in the driver seat. A great performance against a Wales that couldn't hold on to the ball. Ireland fell under Sexton's worst game in a while and relentless England defense. Painful weekend!

‘Painful weekend’? Mais non! It was a marvellous weekend.

France put Wales to the sword in Cardiff and England shut Sexton right down and gave Ireland a good seeing to. Ireland are now hurt and will be desperate to see France off. If they do, England are looking good for the championship. We looked very capable and that without both Vunipolas.

Billy's been a liability for a while now. We do miss Mako though.

Still can't understand Fast Eddie's determination to play people out of position. Curry at 8, when there's Dombrandt and Sam Simmonds tearing it up in the Premiership? Joseph on the wing? Seems bizarre to me, and they're just the obvious ones.

Well England are looking bloody strong!

Someone Welsh will say that they only lost by three points but that’s bollocks. England were winning all over the park and were two tries up until we went two men down.

With three teams in the running England look best positioned as we face Italy, who are struggling. God knows when we’ll finish the tournament though.
