I had a xb9sx at first, super fun bike. My Uly is really fun but it just looks weird. Still fun and functional so it stays.

I'm almost positive I read his article in cycle world.

That east Bonita. The cops will run you out of there but they legally can't. The problem back there is they don't know who owns the land, it's been handed down through generations.

I have a trespass warning from Vincent and Bonita Beach road ( yep, from public streets), when it gets out let me know and I'll show you around back in there.

Nice! Is the stock klr seat bad? My DRZ seat hurt so I put a SDG tall seat on a couple weeks ago. It's super hard but so comfy for my skinny ass.

I had a seat concepts on my Grom but it was too soft and killed my tailbone. I had to take it off and and go back to the stock one.

I haven't ridden in there in years, but I did a lot. I just checked my photos from the last time I was out there in my Jeep, 2012. Time really gets away from us.

I just got back from East Bonita and the dunes. East Bonita is flooded. I went in East Terry and it was overgrown and flooded.

The dunes was very dry. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

the “new” stock klr seat is fine for a few hours at a time. im taking off for a week or two and thought the sargent might be better for long days.

the sargent site never showed a top view of the world sport seat, i was surprised it was so wide. thankfully it doesnt look all road king once installed! actually fits the klr’s shape pretty nicely

The dunes is that behind the school.Iroad out from Vincent last year past twin eagles golf course I did not lay the first tracks someone else does ride out there .ithink if it is drie enough you could make it all the way to lake traffic off of 82,.I bet you in the next ten years from twin eagles to terry will have a major road.

Yeah the dunes is off imperial/Livingston behind the school. I've ridden from Vincent and Bonita beach road to immokolee road, there used to be a trail system back there. You come out right at the CVS on immokolee and Golden gate. I'd like to try to get to lake Trafford.

You can also cut through the rock quarry on alico and get to sr82.

FINALLY had time away from work to go riding. the sw motech bags are great on my klr, well built and a nice size for the bike. the sargent seat is a fine fit too, and high quality. but in my opinion the stock seat is so good that the sargent is just a little better, based on today’s four hour ride.

anyway, its soooo nice to ride after living the job for several months. i was thinking how far bikes have come since the seventies, and even my beloved but “old tech” klr650 handles and brakes very differently than, say, my old sr500 did back then. 15AD9529-E60E-4C69-BF6B-17E430F0E95E.jpeg

Hi everyone! I just moved from N. Utah to Cape Coral/Ft. Myers. I ride a Husqvarna TE510 and am hoping to contribute to the thread as soon as I get used to this thing they call "h-u-m-i-d-i-t-y"... Agh! at this point I'm scared to go outside! :D
