    Hi all

Looking for a compatible riding partner. My partner will not be available for a winter ride this season.

    Me:

Live in denver ...age 58 ... in good shape ... started riding in Colorado at age 40 .... have ridden all over Colorado parts of Utah, Arizona, and Baja .... been on KTM since day 1 .... current dual sport weapon ...... KTM 350 xcf-w with all needed cross country mods.

I enjoy multi day cross country trips .

I like the flexibility of camping trips.

I enjoy the lighter bike of hotel trips.

I enjoy mixing in a hotel with camping as needed.

I enjoy the road less used .

LOVE ripping paved secondary twisty mountain roads ! ! ! My 350 and I are NOT alergic to slab

I enjoy technically challenging dirt. ... single tract sections with camping gear .... let's talk about it . :-)

Like to find a like minded riding partner to explore Arizona / Baja with for a 10-14 day trip this winter.

I would like to go in mid January - March.

I am open to other destinations with warm weather.

    Hey Scott,

I'm in AZ, my son, a friend and I, are looking at doing parts of the AZ BDR this winter, the southern/warmer parts, perhaps we could organize something?

My newest riding partner is a 2018 350EXC-F and loving it so far. I too, have done some on road mods.
I'm stuck living near Chicago so have to travel (yes, with a trailer) to ride.
My favorite riding is on what I would call ATV width trails. Been riding for 50 years, through 40 countries, a former MX racer from WAY back:lol3.
I'll go crazy if I don't get out on a reasonable ride this winter, the more days the better. Not on work lock down or scheduled vacation time, free!
Was on the 350 for 13 days in a row last month off road in Utah and loved it. I'll take sand and rocks over midwestern mud any day.
Perhaps we should keep in touch. Maybe I could trailer out to Denver and we could then head SW together.

Heard my name. Took me a year to figure out where it was coming from.

    Yup. I’m in Wheat Ridge.

Scott, it sounds like you’re a little more off-road than me. I’m on a Honda CB500X. Planning to get out this summer and find some new roads and trails.

    Hey Jamie

    Yep, post is old

Great job with tent space ! ! !

    I have used it.

Suggest you consider Phantom Canyon Road near Cripple Creek Colorado for summer Explorations if you have not already found it

Really fun graded dirt road should be perfect for a cb500x.

Phantom Canyon is one of my favorites. I spent a few days in that area last summer in my car. Found some great places to camp. Looking forward to going down there on my bike.
